You’re not wrong, but you’re not getting what he’s saying. We can exercise our individual rights regardless of what the President says about 2A. However, we have no control over a porous border or WW3.

I would say that while Trump will be a speed bump in the master plan, I don’t think another 4 years is enough time to really change anything.

Neither she nor Dave Smith ever had any libertarian principles to sell. Angela MAGArdle definitely sold the party, though. She's the Wayne Lapierre of third parties, draining the coffers to fund her personal expenses.

Okay, to be fair... she's more what you'd get after ordering a Wayne Lapierre off Temu.

The Libertarian Party is dead. What's left of it isn't even what was the original party but some refuse to accept it.

Trump survived because he is an angry Billionaire.....many Jan 6th defendants are still locked up, some in solitary. The country and the Constitution are being destroyed yet some insist on beating the feckless drum of irrelevancy.

It's an ominous sign for our side.

Look how far Tulsi shifted. Bondi is loyal Trump and loyal MAGA, something Trump was badly short of during his first term. She has always spoke harshly about the swamp. If I think about it there has never been a candidate that I was in complete sync with and I'm sure all of us could say the same thing.

Bondi will need to tighten her belt, and hold her fists up, as she is in for a hell of a fight from the Communist Left.

I will sit back and at least give her a chance to land a haymaker on the chins of the SWAMP.

Without reading this thread in its entirety how many of you that are bitching would have been more happy if Kamala was going to be our new president?

No 4 years (really two years) won't be enough time to completely change things... BUT it is enough time to get things started. People seem to forget that it took decades for us to reach this point where there is basicly single party control within the halls of Congress and in the halls of most of the federal government's many departments. We're not going to magically solve this overnight no matter who is elected. Its going to take many more election cycles to turn things around and root out the rot. Trump, for all his faults and he has quite a few, gives the breathing room to start that turnaround.

But as always not everyone will be happy. Those with TDS, and there are many, will still have TDS. And like with the Democrats right now, some are in a purity spiral on the center and the right trying to find the perfect candidate, someone other than Trump. Like it or not we fight the battle with the tools we have. And for now that tool is Trump for all his faults. He isn't a dictator and his cabinet picks (some good, some bad) have to be confirmed through the Senate to have the ability to try and wield their department powers and begin the cleanup. It is doubtful the RINO's in the Senate are going to recess and let Trump use recess appointments to seat cabinet picks.

I believe that Trump has to walk a thin line. One one side he want to shake up the current govt structure. On the other he has to keep it together so support for Vance will be there for the next election cycle. To blow up govt, while I’d love to see it, will probably mean a lose in the next election.

The democrats have their mouths firmly engulfing Michael Bloombergs manhood or whatever is left. They reach 90% financial campaign capacity instantly when they take the anti gun pledge. This way democrats don't have to work very hard to get elected after that. Everything else is just bonus cash to flood the airwaves with stupid BS "Vote for me or my opponent is going to take grandmas social security". This then allows them the little leeway they need to suppress the constitution. They simply come up with another goofy law that will claim to fix everything, ends up fixing nothing, but the anti-gunners have a win in their column no matter how stupid it is.
