17-year-old arrested in killing of 2 people in Kenosha

It blew my mind they use a tumbler with physical pieces of paper that have the juror numbers on them io select the alternates instead of using a random number generator. I could see a very real opportunity for bias if you could see the juror numbers while reaching into the tumbler to pick the alternates
Having published vulnerabilities related to rigging RNGs, I like the low tech approach.

By having the Kyle draw, any bias would skew in favor of the defense (as it should be).

“A demonstrator outside the Kenosha County Courthouse told Fox News Digital’s Michael Ruiz that he thinks the verdict will go in Kyle Rittenhouse’s favor, but that he’s “worried about Kenosha because I don’t want to see nobody hurt.

The comment comes as five protesters in support of Black Lives Matter have gathered outside the building, along with a trio of counter-protesters. “I am for peaceful protesting. I am for free speech,” the demonstrator from Milwaukee said. “I am here to support Kyle Rittenhouse because I’m a constitutionalist, I believe that he defended himself,” he added.“

If these 8 demonstrators mix it up, it could mean riots, looting and burning 😅

don’t know if this is a dupe or not. now the jurors go into deliberation knowing there is danger for them, and some expressed concerns about safety before the trial began. does he get a fair deliberation with this in the back of their minds?

He violently raped a woman, a teller, at the bank. That testimony is something that I will take to my grave, I'll never be able to unhear it. This guy was definitely an animal. After the trial the judge told us that he was a convicted sex offender who was convicted of multiple rapes of a girl under 14.
Damn. I guess he was not going for the vault if he stopped to rape a teller. An animal indeed.

Turns out that jump kick man is allegedly a giant scumbag felon as well!
Prosecutors lied in their opening statement.

Prosecution was in contact with Jump Kick Man, who had offered to testify but wanted a get out of jail free card in exchange.
Did they tell the defense about this?

f***in lawyers taking care of thier own!
If it weren't for all these lawyers, we ... wouldn't have all these lawyers.
A town too small to support one lawyer can always support two.

WTF is a laser dot? I’ve seen red dots and Lasers both green and red. But this Laser Dot sounds interesting. Does SIG make it?

Even Grandma is getting ready for the riots and knows what's what!
"Nick's Deli".
Well that's a big damned help narrowing down the location.
I'mma bet they have baklava on the menu, too.

These two f***wits need to stay home.
You know who needed to stay home?
Kyle Rittenhouse.
Yet here we are.

If you surround yourself with morons simply because they claim to support your cause you are willingly and correctly to be associated with morons, as will your cause.
Paging Ted Nugent, paging Ted Nugent; Ted Nugent please pick up the white Courtesy Phone...

I think you have an exceptionally skewered view of average intelligence. Thr average IQ is 100 by definition. If you want to have a national platform, those people you call "morons" are critical to be on your side.
Any libberal will explain to you that
it doesn't work that way
where they come from.

Fun fact.

Oscar Zerk, inventor of the Zerk grease fitting, is buried in Kenosha.
No joke!

... can you honestly envision a fist fight with a stranger that does not put you in fear of imminent serious bodily harm?

That's what frosts me the most. Can't bring up a long history of anything the defendant has done a hundred times before.

Because they likely weren't given his identity by the DA's office.

They knew who he was. The DA was holding him under another case to make it so the defense couldn't call him (because he would plead the 5th). The DA can grant immunity and put him on the stand to support their story. Thry didn't because they knew it would blow up in their faces.

Because he wouod immediately plead the 5th
It was correctly argued that the prosecution controls Zeminski's privilege. They pushed the case out to keep him unavailable and they could have granted him immunity. To keep charges hanging over his head keeps the privilege alive and keeps him unavailable.
