The witnesses last week were as bad for the prosecution. I don’t think they’ve had a single witness help prove their case.
The reporter who was called last week was great. He was feet from the event when rosenbaum attack rittenhouse. Prosecution tried to go after their own witness and said you’re guessing about rosenbaum wanting to attack rittenhouse right. Answer (by their own witness, a reporter who doesn’t know anyone involved) well he said f#@k you and tried to take rittenhouses rifle.

I havent really watched the trial but from watching the DA talk tot he reporter, is he trying to insuite that because Kyle had a gun, he was "asking for it" by simply being armed? Guilty by association? Is that his whole premise?

Don't bank on a directed verdict. I'm sure the marsupial has been properly briefed, and the "jury" led to understand the consequences of disobedience.
I hope I'm wrong. I really do. But I predict a conviction, for precisely the same reason as the installation of Brandon as "President" (despite, well, EVERYTHING) - to demonstrate to you peasants that you're no longer in charge, THEY are.

I think the bailiff just got chewed out for letting a summonsed witness boogie out of court.
Whole show is pretty much a showcase of how an innocent getting declared guilty.
The whole gamble now is what exactly he will be declared to be guilty of, as pretty much almost nothing seem to even apply.
Like all involved already know and agreed that he is guilty, just not getting clear enough on what of.

That witness is grosswhatevers former roommate. He’s set to testify on Wednesday under subpoena from the defense. He’s more of a secondary witness so it appears the prosecution will rest Tuesday or Wednesday. It’s very rare for a directed verdict but I don’t see how the prosecution even comes close to making a reason case which sustains the charges. With the one exception of maybe the minor in possession charge.
The chauvin trial is still fresh in my mind. This is an even more clear cut case but sadly most of the public wont watch raw court footage
They are getting a curated version of events and the jury will act in their own best interest/safety.

He testified to his coursework in medicine and his employment was for a private ambulance company. Saying he was a paramedic is reasonable
