3/27/23 Nashville School Shooting

Also known as doing the job that they were hired to do. Well done, men.
Nope 2 beat cops going in after someone in a school environment is not what they were there for.

Thats a special skill set

They did go above and beyond the skills and training provided to help those kids

Not all cops are good but these 2 seemed to be more of what youd like

This isnt ancient sparta jfc

Some of you guys want a genetic clone of john wick, john wayne, and einstein to teach your kids for 40 grand
Why would you subject your child to be forced into interaction with a person you could not stand even 5 minutes with?

I didn't say we should arm teachers, I said we should not allow those whom we would NOT want to be armed around our children to be in control of their fate at all.

Let's put that aside for the day. They did a fine and courageous job and no slight ya but should take place. This ain't the case for that. 100% thank you is all that is required for today.

I see you are from NH. Teachers in in the DPRM get considerably more than 40K for their nine months, plus defined benefit pension and a medical subsidy until Medicare kicks in.

Teachers get paid supplements for all sorts of extra work - the soccer coach of chess club advisor gets paid for that extra duty. Just pay the same a sports coach or club advisor for the time put in (training, etc.) and make it voluntary.

That doesn't look like an especially safe or accurate grip, if he's thinking he still might need to fire.

Then again, the last raid I was on was in the kitchen.

Does Officer Mike need training or is this just how it sometimes looks?
I have a feeling that he was completely confident that a previous shot's placement prevented a response from the POS

They did a great job - you could see they were hesitant and being pushed by the one with body cam.
But when the target presented they took instant action completing the mission with all due prejudice.

The Foxnews show about the "Trans shooter" was interesting - not for the content, but for the fact that it was allowed to happen. No major outlet, even Foxnews, would dare use the term "Black Shooter" in the title of a show - which for the trans community, means there is more work to be done.

I think you missed the point he's trying to make- EG, the fact that the people who run public school prisons can't teach kids well (and now many of them are stuffing their brains with shit) let alone even marginally protect them from anything.

The funny thing is they have already turned these places that look and feel like prisons, but the actual security part of that disguise is missing.

The recent school shooting videos show how equipment that became common in practical shooting competition has trickled down to LE.
  • The handgun had a slide mounted red dot sight.
  • The scope on an AR had a scope quick-zoom lever, perhaps an MGM Switch Lever. Allows very quick change of scope magnification setting.

I was wondering if anyone knew what type of optic he had on his rifle.

I refused to send my kids to public school so I dropped the cash for private.
I also took the hit for my wife to leave a lucrative job and go back to school for education so summers would be taken care of.
When we felt the private school wasn't serving our children, we took another hit to home school.
Home schooling came right after buying our dream home.
Our children were our #1 priority so we sacrificed lesser wants to put them in the best position we could.

Unless you are a single parent, I call BS on not being able to get your kids out of bad schools.
If more people took responsibility for providing a safe and effective education for their children the blue haired freaks wouldn't be able to take over the education system and public schools would produce world class educational opportunities. But it's the culture to push off parenting to the system because that's the way it's been for 100 years.

Not really.

Where I teach, the entire department comes into the schools twice a year for drills which, presumably, are just like what that footage shows. That's the entire department, even the auxiliaries.

The modern protocol is that ANYONE with a badge moves out and gets it done. And that's the thing: they usually do. MOST school shootings end relatively quickly because the responding officers go in and earn their pay.

That's what made Uvalde so mind-numbing.
