I'm thinking echo, here's why.
It sounds like 3 distanced peaks, that's more 3 round burst than full auto. It's unlikely that he has an actual burst capable gun. The 3 round bust is a lot more complicated than just full-auto, you can't just make it from a piece of wire or a little sheet, so people don't make burst guns, they make full-auto. And a binary trigger is 2 rounds not 3. So either he's in perfect control of an MG with a home made auto-sear and squeezing off a perfect 3 rounds each time. Or it's the sound of single shots in an area were there are 2 surfaces producing an echo.
Occam's razor says it's the simple explanation, echo.

They already do this but only for full blown invol commits. But in reality thats a big bar to reach because it was supposed to protect people from getting falsely listed. Also the idea of disarming them is stupid, criminals who are PPs have no issue getting guns. These people need to be locked up in looney bins instead. But our society has basically switched to "catch and release with pills" which has proven that it doesn't work.

Any way you look at this, it’s a very sad day. 22 people got killed. Sucks.

Normally I'd make statements about everyone being pants shitting morons, but he already has delivered more than one target - one of which had kid stuff going on. If he's not done, schools would be on the table.
 
Card is enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve and has an active military ID. Authorities have stepped back their early reports that Card is a trained firearms instructor.

Are you saying the libs would not view this guy as a catalyst for their efforts because he's white, Army reservist with gun training and recently in mind jail?

They could not have picked better if Card had been hand-picked for the job.

They'll milk this all fall/winter and in the spring, there'll be one more big one, someplace and probably a scattering of smaller events leading up to the election.

Who is the source that he was in a mental institution and wanted to shoot up an army base? How would this be public so quick? No hospital would release this info and police would not have that this quick. Why was this photo released last night. How did that help police? As to the original photo release, one the guy looks skinny and pasty white, the other he looks fit. Also the hair line looks different. One looks combed over and one looks shorter on forehead cut short straight across.

I think he (or she) was just pointing out that laws (good or bad) are in place that SHOULD have stopped this event before it happened, if laws like the "red flag" idea actually worked in the first place.

But when it's used as a revenge or persecution tool, it takes a bad idea to a whole new level.

It does seem odd that nobody appeared worried about the guy before last night.

At that time, I believe the Walmart was in play. Then Walmart DC.. Then same 15 minutes, an active shooter in VT somewhere kicked into the feeds. And The Bar and The Grill were both separate locations...

But *nods. I just want to KNOW which came first.
