I completely agree. Once whatever he was on wore off, and he realized what he did, I think he killed himself. They might be aware of this. A couple more days of anti-gun press and we'll miss a lot of what is really going on in the Middle East.

Same here, a good friend of mine went into psychosis recently, in mid 40s. I convinced her to come for a psych eval. They kept her for 3 weeks. It really openned my eyes about mental illness.

And how does punishing lawful gun owners for the bad acts of criminals keeping "other" people safe?

Do you imagine that the criminals will simply obey the new laws that say you can't use a plastic gun to kill someone, nor any gun that has a shoulder thing that goes up?

He literally didn't win that election. The majority voted for Bruce Poliquin. He's only in that seat because of ranked choice voting.

Dr. Harold Schwartz, a former Governors Sandy Hook Advisory Commission member and an expert on mass shootings, said Maine’s gun laws are vastly different from Connecticut.

“They allow virtually anyone to purchase an automatic weapon like an AR-15 to carry concealed or unconcealed. They also allow for the purchase of high volume clips, the kind of things that allow to shoot off 15 to 30 bullets,” Schwartz said.
