I was at a shooting class not too long ago and the instructor's opinion was that the the typical bad guy/criminal has about the same shooting skill as we practitioners do with our non dominant hand only.

Very hard to quantify that, but it was an interesting concept to think about.

Sounds like a bunch of bullshit. Some "teen" TikTok hood rat with a handgun, maybe, but rifle wielding criminal has some serious ability to put lead on people. Look at that freak from Chicago on July 4th last year during the parade, likely little to no experience with a rifle and he killed several and also escaped.
