I use this for some around the house bullshit and snacks for my lunchbox

A recent email says some subscribe and save items prices have increased.

current prices are actually lower than my subscribe and save pricing(as of last month). but they want to charge me more than last month.
see screenshots of the upcoming deliver with the blue box around it, and the current pricing of each product

I am currently on a customer service chat with Siddharth, lets see how this goes

yeah, my coffee (100 kcup) goes from $38-100 every month. I double check everything just before the ship date and skip everything that's got high prices and keep the stuff at my expected prices. I have two brands of coffee in the cart and choose the one at the best price so I'm not paying $100 per box.

Always review the monthly email digest they send prior to commiting your order. Often times, I end up removing stuff that's priced lower elsewhere.

That seems like a lot of work. I do the opposite. The 3 Camels track the price of a case of my preferred Starbucks blend. It's usually $9-10/bag. But it'll go to $8-7 a bag from tiem to time. I get an email and order what I think it'll take me for a while. I think I have 4 8packs right now. THat's. . . . a bit over 3 months' worth of coffee.

I'm sure at some point, I'll ahve to to pay $9/bag for it once or twice. Or the price will finally rise and I'm paying it all the time. For now, I'm just trying to get over on the man. $1 saved and a bag lasts me 4.5 days or so (I think). That's a whole $81 saved a year! ROFL!!!

I tried S&S a couple of times over the years but found it to be more trouble than it's worth. If I need something I buy it, and if it's a subscribe and save-type of item I'll usually just buy a half dozen of them instead of just one.

Go to Market Basket and get Vermont Coffee. You can thank me later.

It's not bad.... Meh/okay. I fell victim to a Facebook ad for Kitty Town coffee.... I'm a softie for cats..... cant say no to cute kitties.... must pet the kitties.....

Shut up!

Any who...... the coffee is really good. Surprisingly good.

No subscription services for me as much as possible.

Do yourself a favor. Look at your bills this month and make a list of all subscription services. Streaming channels, sirius xm, software, service contracts, ring, google/apple storage etc. Then go through them and see how many you don't use and cancel them. You'll be surprised how much $ you can save if you haven't paid attention and let them pile up.

They tried this back in the day with the amazon restock buttons.

Buy your item, run out, hit the button where you store the item and automatically order a new one, at a higher price.
Wasn't very popular.

Personally, I hate anything that automatically renews, I begrudgingly accept my cell phone and range dues but thats about as far as it goes.

I might try that. But I have to go to MB. The Raynham MB is the worst, smallest MB in the chain. It's like crawling through the tunnels of Vietnam in there it's so tight. They do have an amazing produce selection, though. So sometimes I go just for that.

What's a bag cost?

My issue is I order Decaf Verona. It's an Italian roast but "decaf." Decaf for Starbonk is, like, half-caf. Not for me. I don't care. My wife and daughter - can't take a normal starbucks jolt of caffeine.

I've always considered it a "lazy tax" if the regular prices went lower than S&S which is why I've never used it given prices can fluctuate throughout the day let alone a month.

Folks agree to the price because it's a better deal at that time, to expect a company that does the amount of business Amazon does and to keep track of current pricing and adjust it in real time for each and every S&S user is beyond ridiculous. And this coming from someone that hates Amazon.

Amazon sent me an email saying there was a price increase, the price increase would have been acceptable if that new higher price was the same for everyone. The email showed the old S&S price and the new price for an upcoming delivery, but when I clicked the link they had on the email they sent me, the current pricing was actually lower than ever.
