Is that a dpms upper? Friend bought a couple and the ID was to small. All the bcg he checked wouldn't fit.

I think it is, as is the float tube. The CMMG bits fit it just fine. As did the GI BCG and the 7.5" 5.56 barrel I had on it before.

Nice! I really like KeyMod. Way easier to add and move stuff around the rail and solid. I highly recommend the BCM KeyMod QD Sling Swivel.

Picked up an Odin-works extended mag release. First impressions, I like it. We'll see how it works out in the long run. Only issue I'm concerned about is inadvertently dropping a mag.

So I finally finished both my ARs, all assembled and ready to go.

AR on the left is a stag lower, with Magpul furniture, Magpul ASAP sling mount,bad lever, veriforce tactical 16" upper, mid length SS barrel, micro compensator, 15 inch keymod rail, BCM grip. PA micro red dot with Tango down IO cover.

AR on the right is a complete Yankee hill machine black diamond specter carbine length 16", with 15" vtac Troy rail, Magpul furniture stealth grey, Magpul ASAP sling mount, Nickle boron palmetto BCG, Troy BUIS, PA micro red dot.

both shoot and run great, very excited to have them finished.

I have that same FDE handguard. Got it off Amazon for cheap $. It's not bad at all.

Now, with glass. Last thing to switch out is the handguard. I want to go with something longer, but I'm not a fan of the quad rails. Maybe something along the lines of a Samson. I'm looking to keep it light though.

if you don't have a sling mount back there your collar is not correct, use the other one.

I had that one on to begin with, but I'll be swapping out for a plate with sling mount in the near future. Plus, I kind of like the looks of this collar. I didn't know I have to use the other collar if I'm not running a sling mount.

Beater/truck rifle. Pulled it out last weekend to run a few rounds through it and man did it make me appreciate all the fanciness of my Battlecomped and scoped 16" gun. It also made me realize I need to shoot this thing just as much as my other blasters and spend more time getting back to basics.
