ATF E-Forms Submission wait time

Friday will be four weeks (28 days) for me. I have another couple to submit but I was planning on staggering them once the first is approved so I can learn from my mistakes, if any.

Right, comment period ends May and we have 60 days after that. I just figured that the volume of submissions would pick up as we get closer, thus slowing down the approval process.

I have 3 left: 2 AR SBR's and an AK SBR. The AR's are straight forward since they will all be submitted with the same upper.

It was my understanding that is without but OAL is with; please correct me if I am wrong. It is easy to remove or change the muzzle device.

It's the permanent barrel length, you will measure the length of the actual barrel and not include the flash hider, brake, suppressor, etc.

The overall length should include the size of the stock fully extended (for those that have adjustable stocks).

On the M4 Carbine site they have an E-form tutorial and it says on a pinned muzzle device, its included in the barrel length, FWIW.

I did it!!!!! Finally finished my 1st Form 1...!!!!! The online part took me all weekend!! It was a PITA.... from getting the correct IE to downloading my trust.... and a nasty virus on my computer that took from Thursday until late Saturday night to clean out.... I think Red sent it to me.... [rofl]

But that's it, the 1st one is done and I can tell you from here on in it'll be a breeze for future Form 1's. Signed, sealed, paid and delivered to the ATF!! Now the countdown.. Much thanks to Rockmaple for the trust and advice, My buddy Justin for getting the computer stuff straightened out... AR15.com thread with the Youtube video made this thing a breeze... I forget who posted the link here, but thank you!!!

Interesting BB.... not so sure about it... I did use a preban lower for my 1st SBR... but if that's true, I'll SBR one of my UZI's and unweld the stock....

I just completed an eForm submission. Filled out the eForm 1 and then uploaded my NFA trust document and a copy of my MA LTC-A. Paid with a CC. Got the electronic confirmation and all looks OK provided I haven't made any errors. I've done this before without the trust (COP sign off) and that took a long time but I finally did get the stamp.

The electronic form1 does makes it pretty straightforward and easy.

Make sure that you hit "sign & submit" after paying or the form will stay in draft status.

Do we have to send in a copy of our license, I didn't see it requested anywhere.. ?

Yes. It will get kicked back without it.

I've been told that only one of the trustees needs to provide their LTC but I can't confirm that.

excellent, thank you... I think it's coming back regardless.... I didn't put my city and state in the box when I filled in the make and model info, just put the name of my trust in..

I'm thinking of just doing another one, I plan on doing 3 SBR's... should I start another now.. or wait for the 1st one to get along..
