ATF E-Forms Submission wait time

I spent a couple of hours today trying to get a form 1 submitted. I used a couple of browsers - Safari and Firefox, and kept having issues with 'saving' after the supporting docs were uploaded. At one point, I was able to certify and got the payment option, but the payment screen would not render. I kept getting weird errors like Java null pointer exception and so on (laptop has the latest Java). When I try to save after uploading, the beach ball spins for a while and ultimately, I end up back at the home page (uploads are dropped from my draft).

Has anyone else encountered this and, if so, could you offer any guidance?

Yeah, it's on their end. Try again in a few hours.

It lets you get as far as certifying it, and when their system isn't working it says java null error and kicks you back out to the submission page. I usually wait a bit and try again, payment window comes up at the end and works properly (sends you email confirmation, etc.)

73 days this morning.

These wait times are sucking ass; I need to submit a couple lowers soon just so they get approved in 2015.

Yep, try Chrome in an Incognito window, every 2 hours.

Thanks guys. I tried Tuesday night and it went through with no issues. Used the same browser and uploaded same files. Go figure...

Watch NFA Tracker: You will be able to tell when your number is up by the dates of other form 1's being approved.

Thanks. Yes, checked NFA tracker some filed on Feb. 19 approved May 2. Any day now !

I read my approved Form 1? He signed it so unless its a forgery I think its a pretty good indication.

hehe, I was pointed more toward 71... he sounded like he knew who was working on his paperwork and it wasn't your guy..

My AK stamp was submitted on March 15th and that should have been enough time to have it by now. BUT current wait times are through the roof as a result of ATF 41P so... And now they put that off another six months so WTF!

Bingo , Jason Bowers called me at work today, just need to get a copy of my LTC to him and hell approve. Now, Im bad with computers so do I go back to my Draft and add an attachment ?

Ya, I went on NFA tracker like BB said and noticed Jason Bowers was approving a lot of aps. I end up getting him too!

Yep, you can modify if your app is still in submitted in process, just remember to save after you attach it. Thanks for all help, now I want an AK SBR too !

That's a mistake on their part, if it's approved you can request a clean copy w/out the watermark. I had 3 of mine re-done that way.

No email just looked up my form 1 and it was approved. Clicked on the approved form 1 tab then clicked the PDF and saw the STAMP (ya baby !) but the document had DRAFT still on it.

You should get an email with the completed form to the address that you used. If it says draft, call the number I gave and give them your info. They should fix it as Sinitron noted above.

Sometimes you get a "change in status" email with your completed form-1, PDF, and everything is good. Sometimes you don't, and you log in to find it already completed with watermarks present. It's all so consistent [smile]

i never received an email on my last stamp, I have a few in now and I check the web site twice a day.

I guess I have been lucky that mine were all clean with emails and PDF's so far. And now that I have effectively jinxed myself I'm just going to stop right there.

Just got email now my form 1 submitted Feb 21 is approved. 78 days. I'm in Illinois for USPSA nationals and haven't been checking the website daily.
