ATF E-Forms Submission wait time

If anyone has an eform in draft, take a look. Apparrently the drafts are still there and can be submitted..if you are lucky. Some have posted about this and gotten back forms quickly.

That's weird, why wouldn't you just submit it right away? Why leave it as a draft for months?

Got a call from the ATF today, Stamp will be approved pending my Mass LTC submission, which i just did. Submitted e-form 2/12/14.

Time to take the lower for engraving and LWRC 8" upper off layaway.

Ooh, I should be a few weeks coming *excited*

Who was your examiner?

Pics yet?

I'm actually pretty embarrassed, I haven't built it yet. The upper is on hand and complete, I just need to install the LPK and stock assembly on the lower. Between Appleseed activities and family engagements I haven't had much in the way of weekend time yet.

It's funny when you think about it... spent almost 6 months whining about when will it be approved, and it's approved and I haven't done it yet! [rolleyes] I need to find a color printer for the approved form w/stamp as well.

Called the ATF today. Said my anticipated completion date is in Sept. I submitted the eform1 on March 17.
I hope it gets completed faster.

That's sweet! Nice job. I was initially going to run the 7.5" Noveske, but couldn't find just the barrel in stock. I may grab that same complete upper, in the future, just for shits and giggles.
Let us know how it runs. Congrats

The only issue with the 7.5" upper is that the forearm is barely larger than the KX3. There are other attachments (rail sections, etc.) that I had considered attaching, but you can't install them because the KX3 is in the way. Thankfully I was able to get the QD one on there by dropping the backing plate in and jiggling it into position... what a PITA. When the KX5 becomes commonly available then this sort of setup (brake only partially exposed) will be easier.

A different forearm where the attachment doesn't require a backing plate would also have made this easier, but live and learn ;)

I just got an email stating the the e-form ones are back.

Wow!

I would use a fresh assignment sheet, with the new item only on it, and new signatures. It's supposed to be witnessed when you add an item. Just my thoughts.

Schedule A witnessed? Is that some MA thing? My Schedule A has never been witnessed, and to answer rkwjunior's question, I submitted Form 1's for an SBS and SBR at the same time. Both Schedule A's had both weapons's listed. 94 days, outbox to inbox.
