Since I don't see her name mentioned, let me say that Ken told me that MrsWildWeasel put a lot of this together - and she didn't even get to come! [frown] So, Sue - Thanks a bunch for all the hard work. It was an awesome amount of fun, and I hope you can come to the next shoot.

Speaking of the next shoot... When's the next one (after Ripton, that is!)? [smile]

I must say thank's Sue for getting this together, I had a great time, and the group photo with Jeff holding a staple gun is a trip! I look forward in going to as many shoots with yah as I can make...

Ross, I've already thrown an inquiry out on a followup shoot somewhere else.

No promises but we'll see!

Sorry we couldn't make it Ross. We have so much going on right now, we decided that this year is house renovation time. Especially with the extra kids we have taken in. Not only that even if I could have come I have been sicker than a dog since thursday. Finally feeling better today. I am glad everyone had a great time and it has been an effort of a few of us to get this off the ground. So my thanks to Jim Conway, LenS, an Ken Mauer. As far as us and next weekend, we are committed here. My sister-in-law always has a big gathering of friends and family and she does a pig roast.
Hopefully when things quiet down some ( I can be hopeful here) we will be able to participate in the next one.

Kalahari,

Were you at the shoot?

I don't recall meeting you . . . but suddenly last night it dawned on me that you could have been Alex. If that was you, it was nice meeting you, but I would have liked to have been able to make the connection.

I wish I could have been there.... [crying] It looks like you guys had a great time. I, however, was ripping up kitchen and living room flooring... [rolleyes] Hopefully we'll get to the next one.

Both Alec and I had an excellent time. Thanks to everyone who accepted him in and treated him as an older guy. We skipped out in the middle for the soccer game, (his team won) so we were unable to meet everyone. We tried a number of things and shared what we had. Thanks to all who let us put our rounds down their pipes.

My favorites were S&W 500 magnum, HK 45 ACP rifle, the AK and any form of black rifle.

Alec's Favorites were MarkM's 8mm Mauser ( "that metal butt plate frikkin hurt" ), Ken's MAC-11, Adam's AK and the M1A.

Unfortunately there was too little time. We look forward to doing it again.
