Shit, that's like wearing two condoms. Yeah, it's a great idea in theory so if the first fails you don't have to waste time putting on the replacement, but now you've gone limp cuz u can't feel anything.
Haha, what?

Thinking you need 2 condoms for a chick before diving in makes me think maybe not do her.Celibate thoughts …

Kind of like when you have to go to a place where you need 3 extra mags. Maybe not go there in the first place.
Every one I ever tried out sucked without modification. Then again, my standard is a 1911 trigger (no more than a 5# pull, most sub 4#). It's one of the reasons I don't own any DAO pistols.
And a benefit of multiple FCU guns, if one is your CCW and it goes down and you have to send in the FCU for whatever crazy reason, you can swap FCUs to still have your CCW.
You can buy 10 FCG's.
The frames and slides are not restricted so they will always be available.
Once you have the FCG's you can hide those small parts and never have to worry about not having access to a gun no matter what laws come down the pike.
Nah, FCUs are a fantastic idea. Think about it: you wake up, disassemble your night stand gun, reassemble it into a smaller package, and carry it all day; when you get home, you disassemble it again and reassemble it as a larger HD gun. Rinse and repeat every day. Definitely awesome and totally not a pain in the ass whatsoeverYou're still going to need all the other parts, and presumably under your black van fairytale, theyll start regulating those, too.
It's always a dumber idea than just buying more guns.
This is another marketing gimmick to get overthinking skinflints to buy stuff. It's brilliant, actually, but I hope glock doesn't ruin their
platform with it, I don't think there's a way to get an interchangeable FCU like Sig has without turning it into a f***ing school bus.
Is that the first time anyone has ever said that about him?
No, I always give credit where credit is due. @Reptile is right about quite a few things, even if he's (she's? it's?) wrong about quite a few things more.Is that the first time anyone has ever said that about him?
I believe you're right. I try to do the same. It's why I don't block. No, I always give credit where credit is due. @Reptile is right about quite a few things, even if he's (she's? it's?) wrong about quite a few things more.
Reptile's all right. Its posts force us to think outside the box, and that's not a bad thing. Even though the world outside that box is a scary place, coated with AstroGlide.

Why would I need that when I have a dupe as it is? lol
No manufacturer is going to take "just the FCU" either, on a warranty claim or for service. How are you going to troubleshoot a gun without all the parts?
I also literally wouldn't be able to trust the swapped in FCU in that gun without testing it, anyways.

No, just have standards. As I posted after that one, my trigger standard is a good 1911/2011 trigger. All of mine are no more that 4#. I've yet to test out a DAO trigger that didn't suck.
To be clear, I don't own any grocks and don't think I ever will. I MIGHT give other striker fired pistols a try, but until I find one with a trigger that isn't shit, I won't buy one.
If you're happy with the factory grock trigger, good on you.
I can see for those who live in places they're limited on the number of guns they can have, but we don't have such limitations here. The FCU benefits are minimal.I mean, I’ve ended up swapping my P365 frame out for a P365X/XL frame and I’m happy about the swap. Cost me $40 instead of a new gun.
I’ve also got a P320 FCU with a Ghost Guns trigger that I’ve swapped between a Flux Raider and a Brouwer 1811 frame for occasional bullseye shooting. It’s not a pain in the ass when it’s like once a month.
But for your scenario, sadly it is the reality for people in certain countries who are limited on the number of firearms.

I never wore out a Glock frame. But, if it fell off me while on my Ruckus, the frame would be scraped. I would not like that.
With a FCU, I could swap out the damaged frame for a new one and it would be like having a new gun.
You forgot about the Glock 7, a porcelain gun made in Germany. It doesn’t show up on your X-Ray machines, and costs more than you make in a month!Let's be honest, there are already only four Glocks: 17, 20, 42, and 43. The rest is plastic. With an FCU, like sig, they can get down to 2... maybe 1?

I personally don't like the way the 5 recoils compared to a 4Crazy i was shooting bullets through the same jagged hole at 15yds yesterday with a completely factory gen 5... sounds like a skill issue.
Where can I get a second gun for $20?"Honey, are son says he's a girl and wants to become a fashion model. You need to spend more time with him and stop fiddling with your guns!"
"No! You don't understand, by switching back and forth I get 30 fps more with the bigger gun and I'm saving us $20 by not buying a second gun. $20!!!"
Frame change with FCU. Rep is trying to make people believe they're like Erector sets cuz he gets ercet at the thought you can have dozens of guns for pennies and hide them where his gay Fed boytoys can't find them.Where can I get a second gun for $20?
