GLOCK To Introduce Gen 6 In 2025

Despite what the movies show, the government doesn’t have infinite resources. Yes, there are additional challenges and considerations in this day and age, but the government isn’t the eye of Sauron or omniscient.

Too true. Look at MudderWusshah, Comrade. "Oh what happens if Russia goes to war with Europe." Well, they did such a bang-up job in Ukraine they needed to import 200K troops from North Korea. The belief that governmetns have deep pockets is wrong. That said, they can F up an individual pretty easy without too much cost to their bottom line. So maybe use that neighbor-wifi thing mentioned above. ;)

Personally, I’d rather have a Flux Raider chassis for a Glock instead of a P320.. because of the P320’s tendencies.

This new Glock direction will make that possible.

And no, the original Glock Flux brace doesn’t count.
This is what I am waiting for, a cool Glock based super small PCC for fun night time stuff.

Have more industry support (aftermarket, holsters, etc).

Knowing Ruger, the Glock will also have much more factory support for spare parts.
Idk, I would bet if Magpul put some of it's brain and muscle behind it, they could come up with some really cool chassis' for the RXM FCU.

They could. And it would be cool if they did. But I’m talking industry wide support.

I’m not even a Glock fanboy. I own zero Glock firearms at the moment. But there are support benefits for Glock over Ruger

Interesting,..,

What if… they put out this as a Ma/ Nj/ North Korea compliant.. with a visible from space LCI, 800 lb trigger, Ma approved 1 round mag. In Ma approved 22 pellet only … then swap the registered part into a via mail 10mm “parts kit”.

Could be an end run around a lot of state issues.

Ruger is a Gen 3 glock clone that takes glock parts and fits in a glock holster and retains any aftermarket support that a gen 3 glock has which is a metric shit ton of stuff already available.

People have taken the slide off a glock and ran it on the Ruger.

I'd say Magpul will have better support, at cheaper prices, and way more speed to market than Glock ever will.

Realistically the sub compact and full size frames are all they need to come out with if you want to play the FCM game. Im sure this year Magpul will have them out in every color for 39 dollars.

Everything else is already out there.....uppers from glock and million other makers of glock slides and barrels, can already be bought for sub and full size frames or whatever in between that will fit. Don't need to wait for Ruger for those.

Most of this frankenstein shit, I could care less about.....its an american made glock with a different grip angle, that can take an optic and night sights for sub 350. Where the competing austrian made glock is more than 600 dollars optic ready with night sights.

If it fits the holsters for Gen 3 Glocks, then yeah I guess it will have a lot of options.

Then it comes down to whether you want to save $100 for a Ruger instead of a Gen 3 Glock. And for the Gen 6 it will come down to whether someone likes the shooting characteristics of Gen 3 Glocks over Gen 6 (similar to 5?).

Still no. Because "Glock." LOL.

In order to be Atty General in mASS, you must watch the first 6 seasons of Law & Order on repeat, 24/7 for a month. You'll be as Glock-hatey as Logan by the end. You can SMELL a fired casing and know it was fired in a Glock. If you go Full Briscoe, you'll consider banning all semi-autos in favor of snubnose 38's.

I have a 5 and if it shoots different than a 3 I wouldn't know it.......and the new finish isn't as good as a 3 or 4. Gen 3 doesn't come with steel guide rod, optics cut that I know of, and night sights would be more than $100 difference over the $350 Ruger.

Realistically the Ruger is what Glock should have made as a Gen 4 gun.....except at the low price point Glock would never obtain.

Now they are making Gen 6 with old ideas and trying to charge double.

Grip angle difference? Yes, but other than that used Glocks (that take night sights) and even quite a few MOS cuts, are showing up in NH, used, for $400 - $500.

I find the Gen4/Gen5 to be softer shooting with the double recoil spring. As I get older and the arthritis in my hand gets worse I appreciate that more.
