Anyway...another probably very silly question...what percentage of your assets are in physical PM’s? I want to see some ‘real world’ numbers from real people.
I recently divulged that I’m at about 10% of my 401k and about 60:40 gold vs silver...hopefully will be finding some real estate soon for a new primary residence, but I don’t really consider it an investment until if/when I can sell it.

In addition to weighing you need to measure with calipers. Buy standard govt coins of a known weight and size.

I always tell folks to travel with a "known good" coin for comparison, when shopping for particular coins.

I looked at the beginning of the day and the coin I just bought was on sale for $40 cheaper...I literally CAN’T buy anything else until I buy a house so I passed.
Fast forward to 4:30PM and I had to double take at how much the price shot up right before the weekend!

I will tell you that when I see PMs spike my first thought Is always “Oh shit what happened!?” It’s never, “Oh great the world is falling apart but my investments are paying off”
