NOTE: HSC has almost 3000 members, roughly 1,800 get this email.
"FWIW, I haven't received emails from HSC even though I'm on the list, supposedly. I get most of the going-ons from here. Please post the details.
Need to get down there. Curious though, the needs to be legible on the signature. Most signatures are not legible, I know mine is not. And if I tried to make it that way, it wouldn't match any other signature I've done. Is that some way they are going to be able to void a bunch of them?"
To add another option for Club members, their friends, and family, HSC will have signature forms available on the following evenings (6:16pm - 8pm) in September in the Clubhouse.
I will organize the Referendum forms, and oversee this activity on these evenings:
- Thursday, Sept 19th
- Thursday, Sept 26th
- Thursday, Oct 4th
Please be aware of the following:
- Signature must be legible. Blue or black ballpoint pen must be used
- No smudge marks or corrections to the Form are allowed
- Printed name is acceptable and must be substantially as registered
- Registration details per voter / signer can be looked-up here: https://www.sec.state.ma.us/voterregistrationsearch/myvoterregstatus.aspx
- The Signer must be registered to vote in the town is which he/she resides"

I signed at Ma**h*** firearms, they had a stack of sheets by townDoes the state mandate that someone has to be there to watch you sign? There's zero chance I'm making it out to the club in the evenings, unfortunately; would be great if forms were just left out for signature or whatever.
What does the substantially as registered part mean for this?Printed name is a legitiment signature in Massachusetts
Not 100% sure, but I think it means you need your name to match exactly as it appears on your voter registration. Middle names and everything 100% match. What does the substantially as registered part mean for this?
Substantially means 'to a great or significant extent '. So I would assume it doesn't have to be exact. Ie) middle initial on the form and no middle initial on the voter registrationWhat does the substantially as registered part mean for this?
Exactly. When I went to sign the other day, they had me look up my exact registration details on the ma.gov site to see if it had my middle initial. I printed the form exactly as my registration showed. (Thanks to the person collecting signatures for pointing that out to me)..Substantially means 'to a great or significant extent '. So I would assume it doesn't have to be exact. Ie) middle initial on the form and no middle initial on the voter registration

Hey Gerry, Stevie Wonder shoots better than those guys.!!I agree that many members shoot like Stevie Wonder but I believe Rockrivr1 is correct. Too many hits to connecting hardware to be accidental.
Sad I couldn't make itOne of ten cannon blasts from Saturday at the 300 yard range, courtesy of Concord Independent Battery. Very thankful to learn from them and make some connections to get referrals for cannon license references in MA.

Imagine being on the other side of that berm on the 65 yard range…
i assumed they were aiming for yet not destroyed steel at 300 yds.Imagine being on the other side of that berm on the 65 yard range…
Just go to the Back 40 range while someone is starting to sight in a larger caliber at the 25....or shooting a DEagle at the 7/10. The roof over the Back 40 gets sprayed with dirt and rocks and you can hear it hit the roof.Imagine being on the other side of that berm on the 65 yard range…
No worries!
