I'm Going To Set Up My Own Pre Ban Magazine Pop Up Store Out Of My Trunk At The Local Police Station Internet Trading Zone And Have Posted Hours

I bough them by the case for $30 per mag. 100 mags per case.

To me they are now worth $100 each.

I need to admit that I am powerless over my addiction to buying mags.

Worse so is my refusal to sell.

I've been using the same old 6 AR mags for the past 20 years in classes and at the range. They still work.

I guess I have a sickness.

I'm a hoarder.

My bedroom and office have dozens of moldy old pizza boxes, old KFC buckets, empty Cheetos bags.

I have old bottles filled with urine because I didn't want to miss something on the internet to use the bathroom.

My kitchen sink if filled with dishes from Thanksgiving meal 2022.

Used paper towels all over the place.

At least nobody wants to burglarize the place.

Your life choices are your responsibility.
Money come and go, it is only means to the goals, not the goals.

If the police tell me I can't stay there all day, I could park at Walmart and stay on NES and see when people want to arrive and then I could drive up the road to the Internet Trading Zone.
Maybe selling donuts at the same time would be advantageous to your selling magazines. Keep them happy with the donuts and you're all set.

The goals meaning the happiness I get from owning material possessions?

I guess I'm a "collector".

I feel happy knowing that I own things even if I don't handle and look at the items from time to time.

Just knowing it's all in storage or even buried in the ground for that matter puts a smile on my face and is comforting.

There may be a time when I am much older and I want to sell everything so my family wont be stuck with all my stuff. Hopefully I'll have a choice in the matter and not die suddenly.

I have some family members who got rid of all their stuff and live happily in a downsized apartment in assisted living.

They are happy not to have lots of junk and live a simple life in their old age.

Who do you think you are, Ludwig Wittgenstein?!

If I didn't know any better, I'd say this sounds like an admission that you don't really want to sell these mags at all.

I feel like it was his first honest post.

At least first coherent
I guess I don't want to sell them.

If I can get $100 each for all of them and not do the work to advertise and sell - I'd take it.

It's quite a quandary to be in.

I have more than enough.

They are valuable now and legal to sell.

After 10/23 I can't legally sell them in state.

But yet, I admit that I am a greedy hoarder and I enjoy owning them even if I'll never run out.

I do the same thing with canned food.

I over buy and a couple years later it all expires and I throw it out.

I guess I'm an odd bird.

After 10/23 what are we gonna use them for? Home defense only? Won't be able to carry a 30rd mag.

You didn't pay attention. His motivation is not the same as your motivation. He's not interested in HD nor carry:

He sounds like a reloader: doing things for the sake of doing them without any goal.

No, he has a goal: sell for $100/mag without having to work at it.

I have goals too; some are more attainable than others. He seems, now, to be realizing his goal is unlikely to be attainable, that's all.

So you bought at least one case of 100 at $30.00. If you sell them for $50.00 you can get your cash back and make two grand per case. But that's not enough for you? Enjoy your magazines.
I know, I know...

They are more valuable to ME now.

They are so nice.

I would only sell them for more money than they are worth to ME.

As a teenager, I bought mags before I could even own a gun.

I just am really into mags - it's like an obsession.

We all hoard something. Just hang into them like I do with 22lr and duck statues

Ok folks.

Maybe this was a bad idea.

If I only get $70 each for mags - I'd be buying, not selling.

I'm looking for $100 a mag or it's not worth my time.

I guess I'll just keep my hoard in storage and not pursue this endeavor.

BTW - my girlfriend - who is a lingerie model - refuses to be a part of this.

I figured she could use her wild sex appeal to entice some of you to buy some mags. Lots of sales jobs utilize sex appeal to sell things. I don't want to pimp her out like that though but her little sister was more inclined. (She's a bit young and naive.)

Then they started to peruse NES and they both think that NES is filled with old perverts.

They call them "Gun Creepers".

No wonder we all sleep with loaded guns in our beds and a loaded shotgun next to the door.
So basically what you are saying is, you are Florida lots 2.0

I just called up the station and they have an internet trading lot that is open 24 hours.

I have hundreds of brand new pre ban AR mags that I want to sell.

Some from sealed cases of 100 mags from the 1970's.

I just checked Gun Broker and these mags are going for $100 each + shipping.

Used pre ban AR mags are going to $70 at the Mill.

I was thinking of setting up shop at WalMart but there is no soliciting.

I was also thinking of setting up my own store in the parking lot of the gun show or at The Mill but I don't think it's allowed.
I double dog dare you.

I don't think you have the balls.

He was running a business.

I'm just a collector that believed my collection was more valuable that what the market would bear outside of Gun Broker. I don't want to sell anything but maybe for the right price.

Hell no, if I set up at the Mill they could ask me to leave and call the police.

I don't think it will be as busy anymore as in the run up to the new law.

Not only that but I think sadly many of those places will be forced out of business if the petition does not pass.
