You scared us with that gorgeous display of wood! Those SKS's are the nicest I've seen. No wonder you don't like plastic.

I've never seen another 1903-A3 with wood quite like mine. It's got all the original marks (The "P", the "RA", the FJA, etc) so I assume it's not an aftermarket stock set. I'd definitely say it's been refinished, as the stampings aren't quite as deep as they should be. I still don't think an original wood set could be finished this lightly.
