AG says they don’t comply, but that’s not the same thing as them not complying. Somehow the AG thinks a loaded chamber indicator isn’t a loaded chamber indicator. It stems from when Glock told a past AG to shove it when they asked Glock to hand over information Glock wasn’t legally required to hand over.

A distinction without much difference if you ask me. Regardless of whether or not they actually comply, bottom line is Glocks will be impossible to get if this bill passes as is.

There’s just a thin veil of law keeping most of us from doing what we want.
once I’m a criminal for what I already once legally owned what do I care anymore?

The govt loves to make examples of people who don't comply. Just look at the J6 protesters who exercised their right of free speech. Locked up for a long time without trials, then long sentences. Most of those who fail to comply with these wonderous new gun laws won't get in any trouble but others will lose the lottery at the altar of setting an example. Arrested and portrayed as terrorists etc by the media. Maura and the gang will select a group of the least connected and least able to defend themselves (not rich) and bring the hammer down. The media will have their talking heads reporting from outside your local range claiming that this is where these vermin go to break the law. Here me now, believe me later.

tell that to the thousands of actual criminals on the streets shooting at each other who get everything plead down constantly

I agree with you whole heartedly on most of this but if they really wanted to prosecute those with the least resources there’s be virtually no gang violence

I’d be willing to bet most of us have something in our safe that would jam us up anyway, when it’s legal for us to own currently
One look in my safe and any non gun person would assume it’s all illegal.

This law passes what’s gonna change in your safe? You gonna toss your standard capacity magazines? Store your evil AWB across state lines?

Hate to tell you you are a criminal just waiting to be made an example of already and you very well may have broken zero laws. But when did our AG ever care about the law?

Like a said it’s just veil we All agree mostly on, the moment the enforcement doesn’t agree it’s a moot law

I'd say that comparing these true criminals to peaceful gun owners or J6 types is comparing apples to oranges. The libs consider in general terms that those gang bangers are part of their constituency mostly because a lot of their mothers and grandmothers vote. That applies to violent criminals of all races by the way. Peaceful gun owners and the protesters that they hate are some of the favorite targets of the left so beware of them using whatever means to neutralize you. They don't want the populace to own guns period. These people will goad you into firing on them if that's what it takes. Then they'll have carte blanche to finish the job. They are pure examples of communists. I'll believe that I'm wrong when the J6 people are released and 99% of them are assessed with a small fine for tresspassing at most, and the judges and prosecuters are held accountable for over charging and over sentencing. I'm not holding my breath on that. Consider that there are even a few people here that have argued that Ashli Babbit was not murdered in cold blood.

The great dichotomy, we expect tyrants to respect our rights, yet those “rights” afforded to us were to ensure tyrants COULDN’T infringe them
I am willing to bet the second amendment is #2 on the list cause it’s almost as important as #1
 
I just realized something- yeah I am sort of slow when it comes to these things...

There is one commonality between the House and Senate bills- the long hand focused effort to restrict/ ban ghost/manufactured guns. Their "reasoning" is because such guns are used in crimes and cannot be traced. Well, from what I have read most gun violence is done either with stolen and/or guns that have their numbers physically erased. So this is not it. Also no gangbanger will be buying parts and building 3d/printing a gun- there are far easier ways to obtain one illegally. So why do the guberment wants to remove "unknown" guns? So the only guns that are left are the ones they know about? ... and why is that? I think we know the answer. What an unsettling thought for a pro 2A law-abiding citizen...
