Can you help me find an MG3?
I’ve got a guy, he’ll even get you the gun Rambo from every Rambo movie the differences if it’s full auto ,none of these laws even apply to it so that’s still gonna cost you like a fortune

Investing in a 401k is boring when you could defend your own beach front in 308 instead
The sad thing is is there’s only 200 rounds on my HK belt fed that took me 3 1/2 years to get and they shut down all the shoots. It also weighs too much to carry and we have to invest in a helicopter.

But all seriousness I’m really into these submachineguns because carrying and some other stuff around way too heavy.

I hope you feel bad for me with all my white people problems.

But in all honesty, you get the tripods the gun, the ammo that shit weighs literally a ton

I guess I’m gonna have to go back up to Vermont, but they charge a $300? For three feet of line space I finally got myself 9 feet so I can set up the easy up but then I kept not going because dogs are dying. There’s a few rules it’s a 6 Hour Drive each way, Vermont change their laws.

I just shoot on the farm, but that’s another problem.

Helicopter, this is the way. everyone else has their deuce and a half and their tanks. I wanna f***ing helicopter the second. I win the lottery I’m going with helicopters, fighter jets.. and people carrying my shit

I always wondered when you have your deuce and a half and you’re towing a tank behind you. I really don’t think you’re gonna get pulled over for any reason it be way too much paperwork for the officer pulling over and nobody just randomly drives around with that shit that doesn’t know what they’re doing.

Never trust a fart!

The NAGR case, Capen v. Campbell, is headed to the 1st Circuit court of appeals, correct?

Is any of this new unconstitutionality able to be introduced or is it limited strictly to the initial arguments, both at the circuit and potentially later at the SCOTUS level?

Easier said than done. i’m pretty gassy.

You’re not gonna sit on the toilet every time you get a fart but that one time you trust it that’s the wrong one. It’s like I’m playing the bugle with my a**h*** 15 times a day. ask my wife.

I’m holding on my two-year record, but it’s getting very sketchy

I’ll tell you what Joe Biden isn’t lactose intolerant with all that f***ing ice cream he eats

I wouldn't know. It's hard to discern from all the off topic posts. If there's nothing to be concerned about, I'll focus on something else. Thanks.

Only if it’s in the state already with an FA10 come 8/2.

It gets convoluted, double checking the 1994 AWB’s Appendix A, the new MA law exempts the M1 Carbine and its copies. They are flat out not included in the definition of a salty gun.

But, for those rifles not exempted in the federal Appendix A, it’s not necessarily being FA10ed. The law stipulates “registered in accordance with section 121B”. A registration system in accordance with 121B doesn’t currently exist and won’t exist for the foreseeable future.

I hate to admit it but panic buying as much as possible between now and the end of the month is starting to look like a reasonable move. It shouldn’t take long for prices to go nuts on the private market. And is that private market now exclusively NES, or some small handful of similar MA-centric sites?
As discussed earlier, buying legal arms now will be protected constitutionally by Article 1 Section 10.

The bill’s cutoff at July 20, 2016 thereby making every assault style weapon purchased or assembled since illegal and therefore making instant felons of virtually every MA gun owner is completely. blatantly and foolishly, unconstitutional.

Article 1, Section 10 of the U.S. Constitution explicitly restricts states from enacting certain types of laws. Among these prohibitions is the passing of “ex post facto” laws. An ex post facto law is one that retroactively changes the legal consequences of actions that were committed before the enactment of the law.

The specific text states: “No State shall… pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts…”

This clause ensures that states cannot:

1. Retroactively Criminalize Conduct: States cannot pass laws that make an act a crime after it has been committed. For example, if an action was legal at the time it was performed, a state cannot later pass a law making that action illegal and then prosecute individuals who performed the act before the law was passed.

2. Increase Punishments Retroactively: States cannot enact laws that increase the punishment for a crime after it has been committed. If a person committed an offense and was sentenced under the laws in place at that time, the state cannot later pass a law that imposes a harsher penalty and apply it to that person.

3. Change Legal Consequences Retroactively: States are prohibited from passing laws that alter the legal consequences or statuses of actions taken in the past. This includes laws that might change the legal status of a person or the results of previous legal actions.

The prohibition against ex post facto laws is rooted in the principle of fairness and the protection of individuals from arbitrary and vindictive legislation. It ensures that individuals have notice of the laws and the consequences of their actions at the time they act, thus protecting them from retroactive legislative changes.

I can't say because IANAL, but I'm going to skip the portal for now because the law as it stands at this moment says I can't register a receiver that isn't fully assembled. We technically don't have any way to register until the new system is done. It's been said that they can trace the serial number to find out when it was transferred to you by a dealer and that would count as a time stamp for the sale.
That would take a lot of man hours and money to try and chase down serial numbers of lower receivers sold or transferd by all the dealers in the state to find out if you purchase before July 16 looking through filed 4473's in each dealers files or bound book entries.

There are VERY few posters anywhere on NES who truly believe in going out and killing government officials, and most of those are likely Fed plants. So let's cool our jets here. Nobody's seriously suggesting a "jump right to lethal force."

Most of us are putting our faith in the courts, and with good reason. Many of us are advocating simple noncompliance while awaiting that outcome. That's a train you're more than welcome to hop onto.
Some people see Feds under their bed at night.

One could also say people who are consistently encouraging inaction are also likely Fed plants. Why go through all the work to get that one guy to do something and then make one arrest when you can manipulate thousands to sit on their hands?

If that was the case, AR15 lowers that were bought before July 20, 2016, and not built out would be legal under the new law.

We have a letter from Gary Klein stating as much.

Football season will be here soon.
The "patriot" fans will be mobbing a stadium to watch a sub-par team play game after game.
And many of those fans that are firearm enthusiast will be amongst that crowd.
But sadly, it's tough to fill a few blocks at a rally in Boston denouncing Healey and her radical gun laws. Perhaps the pro 2a lawyers will get this fixed. But that's going to take years.
Wut? If you use the same percentage of adult gun owners in mass (15%), you can hypothetically say maybe 9,881 people filling Gillette are gun onwers and even gun owners in this state are not passionate about the 2a.

IANAL but agree the date of 8/1 in subsection 131M may be the important one here.. The date of 7/20/16 (which is BS in general) only seems to reference the definitions of "assault weapons clones" to me. It seems in my interpretation that the date is only referencing the fact that any "clone" owned prior to that date will never be considered an assault weapon. "shall not be considered a copy or duplicate of a firearm identified in clauses (d) and (e) if sold, owned and registered prior to July 20, 2016".

Section 131M which CURRENTLY reads as "Section 131M. No person shall sell, offer for sale, transfer or possess an assault weapon or a large capacity feeding device that was not otherwise lawfully possessed on September 13, 1994. "

The replacement language appears it will read-

Section 131M. (a) No person shall possess, own, offer for sale, sell or otherwise transfer in the commonwealth or import into the commonwealth an assault-style firearm, or a large capacity feeding device.) Subsection (a) shall not apply to an assault-style firearm lawfully possessed within the commonwealth on August 1, 2024, by an owner in possession of a license to carry issued under section 131 or by a holder of a license to sell under section ; provided, that the assault-style firearm shall be registered in accordance with section 121B and serialized in accordance with section 121C.

As long as the weapon was "lawfully owned" at whatever time prior to 8/1 that is. I was interested if you could add the "evil features" to an assault weapon prior to 8/1 and have it be G2G, my reading of the bill says no as it likely was not "lawfully owned". It did seem to suggest (to me) that post 7/20 rifles are fine as they were "lawfully owned" as long as in previous AWB compliance form.

One key part is the move from lawfully possessed to lawfully possessed within the commonwealth. They are cutting of the supply of preban from the rest of the country. So as of 8/1 there will be no option of buying a preban from another state, the supply will be limited to those already registered inside MA.

I would agree fully. They are killing the supply

If you're gonna panic buy anything, get ammo before november vs guns you dont 'need' before August.

Yeah, I was really trying to think of some gun to buy that will be verboten, but after taking inventory on what I got it just does not make sense, I've got everything covered. So then my thinking turns to hitting the button for 10-20K more rounds, just cuz.
