I could spin it a different way. The USSC went on an active court rampage from teh mid-50's through recent past. The current court is trying to get back to the historic intent of the court.
Historical average is 100 cases a year. We're below that now. I'm not sure if I ahve a problem with that or not. Given that the chances of them F'ing up (like Congress) is higher than 50/50, I only want to see a case come up because it will be a game-changer. Otherwise, there's a risk they F it up.
