Way back in 2012 I needed to borrow some rifles to equip a private army.

So naturally I turned to NES for help, and a bunch of you stepped up.

Last time we used rifles, this time I'm looking for muskets, specifically P-1853 Enfield muskets
And now, the rest of the story..
In April 2025 The Duke of Atholl and his highlanders will be making a visit to Massachusetts.
Since 1839 The Duke is the only private citizen in all of Europe allowed to raise his own standing army.
When on parade the march with a pipe band and 30 men armed with long arms.
Due to ATF regulations they are unable to bring their parade rifles or muskets here.
During their last visit in 2012 I arranged the loan of 30 rifles from all over New England.
Now with their 2025 visit, I'm looking to do it again.
This trip we are looking to borrow 30 p-1853 muskets.
These will be used for various parades during their visit.
They will not be fired, so non firing or replicas can also be used.
The muskets will have full time security for the whole itinerary and will be insured for the duration of the loan.
If you are interested in helping be part of this historic event or, if you have additional questions please let me know.

Hey, that second guy has my rifle (No1Mk3 reinforced for grenade launching)!! 😁

No worries about loaning FSTC and the Highlanders rifles - both of mine were returned in the exact same condition they left in. Dropping off/picking up were handled quite well.

Wish I could help this time, but I don't have a P-1853.

So, this dude travels the world flexing on people because he can have a private army?

Broc approves.

Also, this is great. I wish I could help, I have a bunch of muskets, but not an Enfield. :(

if all those BS shows would start using normal modern ARs instead of muskets, it would be a very correct message sent.
reenactment should be sending a social message, not a musket BS that looks like a clown show.
