Picked up a very beat up Brescia-Model:1918 Carcano-6.5X52MM-Rifle nearly free that mechanically is fine. Though it didn’t come with its 6 round clip.

I’ve been researching online what clip would fit this rifle but so far I’m not fining much. There are brass, tin and steel clips but there are two versions. One with a staggers ammo load and one with a straight up and down load.

Just wondering if anyone had any ideas of what might work for this rifle. Some of the clips go for dirt cheap up to pretty expensive depending on what you need. I may just need to buy a bunch of different kinds and see what works.

Any that can shed some light I’d appreciate it.

A photo would help. Is it a full-length rifle or a carbine /short rifle? The Italians introduced a new caliber ammo before the war and some rifles may have been converted.
Are you sure it is 6.5 Carcano?
"The 7.35×51mm Carcano is a rifle cartridge used by the Italian military during World War II. It was designed during the 1930s to replace the 6.5×52mm Carcano used by the Italian military. "

It’s a Carbine Carcano from 1918 and was assured it’s in 6.5 caliber.
