NES Social Dinner?

Oh, I am trying to behave Lynne, but all I did was make our bed and take a shower. I feel somewhat better since I got on antibiotic and prednisone. Glenn just has to live with me though.[smile]

Auntie....you need to BEHAVE and do nothing but veg. Eventually health will return and everything you're trying to do now will still be there waiting for you to do it. So be a good girl and become a couch potato. [smile]

Mother

Yea, that's what a husband is for...wait...

Jersey. Probably just as bad or worse in terms of overall socialist climate. But at least I hung around with a group of people that thought the way I did about this kinda stuff.

I'm horrible at committing to stuff, I'm a terrible host, and procrastinate a lot, so don't want to actually throw out a plan......

......but, for inclusion of our brethren and sistren a little north of here, I'd like to suggest my favorite of favorite establishments in Manchester, which I sadly haven't been to since about 2001 -- Fratello's Ristorante Italiano in the Millyard -- very much responsible for my 230 lbs before I discovered low carb, but very sorely missed!

The Chicken Marsala is to die for, and it's still on the menu. I might actually drive for that one.......

Some future possible venues:
Carmela's Kitchen: Brookfield
Wolfey's: Deerfield
Bub's BBQ: Hadley
Wrights: RI
Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun (buffet!)
Cheng Du:Westborough
Crackerbarrel:Sturbridge
Rom's:Sturbridge

There is some place in RI which does big lobster/clambakes. That would be a great place for a large group to hire out for a night. Horseshoes, food, music, etc. I bet I can get my friend's band to play there or somewhere else if desired.

Cheng Du is in Westboro, MA on Rt 9, not Marlboro. But they do good food. there's a new one in Sturbridge on Rt 20 - the Empire something, I think - that has some VERY nice food. I ate there yesterday for lunch.

and Cracker Barrel is always good!

Weylu's Chinese (I think that was it) used to be good in Saugus or near there.
Hilltop Steak House

Chinatown?
