New acquisition August 2024

Curious what you think of it. The price is right but I don’t see the benefit of buying the Legion model over the Raider X because of the comped slide and shorter barrel.

I checked one out at the pro shop last week and had a conversation with a sales guy.

Shorter barrel gives less velocity but has a fixed comp.
I decided on the Raider X and found a cheap full size 320. I’ll grab a threaded barrel and have higher velocity but allow me to use a suppressor or a add on comp.

you might have to modify a stock to fit it and stay in place, since it's the MA version, the buffer tube is not real... And check the size, it might be a "commercial" profile.

Also the grip is an issue as well as the lower is a bit wider than a normal lower. So a grip with a web might not fit.

I did try to do exactly what you wanted to do. I gave up on the stock idea, and I found a grip that did fit.
Thanks. There’s a few YouTube videos with mods on them. I saw one that mentioned that the tube was mil-spec. I found a chart of sorts that shows the measurements. I’ll measure it to make sure. Of course I’ll have to put the Maura pin in. I’ve heard of people using a nail or removable pin. What did you use for a grip?

I had a left over spikes tactical grip. It fits like crap due to it having a lip on the back.

Also be careful as the grip screw thread on the lower is plastic so you can easily strip it. Common issue.

There are no stop holes on the buffer. So pinning it is the only way to hold it on.

FYI. Radians makes a metal charging handle and safety for it. I installed them on mine. Check them out.

Simple henry 22 lever. My son moved out to his new home he purchased and we moved all his guns to his new house. Left the collection in my safe lacking a 22 long gun. Can't go wrong with a Henry 22 lever.

They really make a nice rifle. For a $350 rifle the wood, fit and finish are quite good.

I recommend getting one of those Skinner peep sight, replaces the rear sight using the barrel dovetail.

Have skinners on a 357 henry they are great. But this one will eventually have a small scope on it.

Well, since it had been four or five days since my last acquisition, I figured I was long overdue, so I picked this up on Monday. My first CZ. And since I really need red/green dots on my guns these days, I'll be sending this one off for an optic cut soon, after I receive the Holosun 407K I ordered for it. I also have a trigger spring upgrade kit on order, along with a set of thin grips. I have big plans for a gun that I haven't even gotten a chance to shoot yet (that should come Friday)!

I love CZ DA/SA pistols. they're as slick as goose shit on a wet lawn.

Even before these new laws I don’t think it was legal in MA.
It's a brace not a stock so a pistol
The manufacture will clam its front mag storage, not a front grip. I wouldn't want to test that in court, but it would have been ok.
So possession and FtF would have been ok, and if it's on the roster a dealer sale would be ok, otherwise it would need to be a frame transfer.

but that's history

If you have a Sig P320 Fire Control Unit you can order the chassis from Flux. No FFL required.

Is there a dealer that sells them for Flux? Seems like they are always out of stock when I check.

Or better yet, where did you buy it?
I don’t think there’s any stocking dealers for Flux Defense and they normally do them in “drop” fashion which I hate.

If you’re in Instagram, follow their page. That’s where they typically announce everything.

Otherwise the only consistent place to buy one is on Armslist or gunbroker and pay a little bit of a premium. Some people try to rape others with their asking price but others are fair in my opinion for an item you can’t find otherwise.

If you want one now, the best option is the Flux Legion that’s partnered with Sig. They’re priced in the $1500 range with the XFIVE series FCU and slide assembly.
