Nowhere near as awesome as that, but the start to my next build. Just got the stock and grip on. Waiting for the Geissele SD-E and the lower will be complete. Plan on mating it to an LAR OPS-4 side charging upper. Should be pretty fun once complete.

reworked my Para P14 that I posted a few posts back. Before and after pics. I just like tinkering... eventually will strip it and have Business End Customs coat it for me.

Before: black/grey two tone and fixed sights
After: painted the frame and slide graphite with automotive paint/ smaller parts black, and added magwell and a sight Mark mini red dot

This U.S. legal resident Canadian just got his LTC-A upgrade from his former weird FFL limited. Thank you Comm2A and the folks that stuck it out in the courts. Most surprising was that it came in only 4 weeks after i applied. So I have been window shopping for years and started my collection with these. Now I have to convince the wife that I also need a smaller concealed carry, and a 1911 and a revolver..hehe

I am looking for (WTB) another magazine and a period style holster for it any suggestions? I also am looking for any information that I can cross reference markings, etc to try and get any history I can on the gun. PM's would be appreciated for anyone that has gone through that before. Thanks in advance.

She's a Russian Capture mixmaster. This is another one which fought 2 wars and was captured in the 2nd.

An original mag in good condition will cost you ~ $130+, a period holster will be $200+.
If you don't want to invest that much, try out a MecGar mag. These are widely available.
I don't know a U.S. source for repro holsters, but the good folks at http://www.lugerforum.com/
and http://luger.gunboards.com/forum.php will be able to help you.

Just ordered 2 myself! 1 mod 3 and 1 mod 4. The DGW has a big scope...the YHM has the Votex 3x.

Will be nice little upgrades...

Depends on the velocity. "Nato" spec stuff is too hot, S&B 125 grs is OK.
Anything 125 grs up to 1,050 fps is fine.

Very nice Luger. Check out International Military Antiqies at www.ima-usa.com. They have a selection of nice repro holsters at reasonable prices. Or Joe Salters for high end originals. Congratulations!

The slide fit is already damn tight.
Putting in a 10-8 barrel bushing combo from their cyber monday sale.
Some golfballing- front strap, msh(new) and grip safety(new).
Fitted grip safety.
New slidestop.
Cerakote matte black.

The burnt bronze is awesome.
