well i picked this up at the beginning of march, its a vz24 with a .45 conversion kit that takes 1911 mags. it was sitting in my friends shop for ages and i wanted something new so i ended up with it.
and the really nice part about this gun, it gives me an excuse to buy a 1911

Frankford Arsenal, 14.5" barrel with a bayo lug and a phantom, Skeleton stock, solid aluminum quad it's a fun looking gun.

I just want to warn you, they are addictive and they tend to multiply. I also want one of those walther P22's. I too have my daughter in mind.

For daughter #1 a savage in 22LR, for daughter #2 a Marlin papoose (she's little) and for daddy, a savage 10FLP in 308 Win ( and a lefty even). Can't wait to get the family to the range. I bought it from a local gun store. They are very good guys and I have used them many times. I had no trouble dropping the cash for the safe to them. They even delivered it for free. Got it for way less than MSRP too. So i think compared to the big chain sports store, I made out a little better.
Well I did not mention the name because it is a little Gun shop north of Albany, NY. Zack's Sports in Round Lake, NY.

Is that the MarkII package deal with the scope? Does that have the accutrigger? I almost picked one up for myself, but I have another purchase pending. Please give us a range report on it.
Also, how are the scopes that come with the Savage rifles?

Well, you've got the unloading station for it, but the open safe picture seems to be missing the assault cat (or "EBC" if you're into the abreviation thing).

Its so spacious and empty...... you need to get those current dwellers some friends ASAP. Start piling them in there my friend, its a gun safe, it needs to have more residents than a mexican co-op........

scopes are cheapies, took it off as soon as I got it home, no optics for the kiddies they're going to learn to shoot with iron sights. Trigger is the standard type but it's a nice package or the money. The 308 has the accutrigger and it's sweet
