DUDE! Today is only the 1st of the month! [shocked]

Yeah, he does it the right way.[laugh]

Well, this technically is not mine yet cause I'm still waiting to receive it but I should have this in the next week or so.

Preban AR I hope to make it dreamy in the next couple months.

It is only the first of the month, but that gives me 29 more days to find more stuff.
The DP-28 is 7.62x54
There needs to be another shoot sometime on a Sunday and I can bring some fun stuff to shoot.

Here is what I have picked up this month so far.

1 Semi auto DP-28

2 Yugo M48A sniper

3 Sistima Colt Model 1927

I know where the DP28 came from, I've seen them for sale oin their site. If I had the cash I'd pick one up today.[smile]
I've also seen the Yugo M48 snipers before, but not with mounts. Does it have the original scope?

Nice stuff, Kingson. And love the AR, BJ.

Here's my latest:
b3.jpg

So it isn't a firearm but it was the best I could do.
It's a Chinese B3-F pellet gun.
We got a flier in the mail last week about a tool sale that was going to be in town for one day. On the front page was the rifle. It was $19.99. So I grabbed 2 of them, one to keep and one to give to a guy at work that has a "pest" problem.
Fun shooter!

It's here ! It's here !

Clickety click [smile]

My new-to-me CZ-52. Heard about these throwing a fireball sooooo, I have to find out for myself ! She needs a good clean - up, and I've got some "extras" on the way. Including a case of ammo.

Stay tuned for gun pron !

Had to stop in at the Trading Post (Northeast Trading Co. in N. attleboro). I was thinking a used P220 would round out the .45 collection. Nothing used, so I picked this up:

Now I just need to find some time to actually get to the range!

'The most powerful handgun in the world...it can blow your head clean off'

S&W 629-1 .44 Magnum

It came with a box of Master brand SJHP. Ought to be really nice for a self defense round !

Edited to add:

Wish I could get better pics, as there is only the faintest hint of a turn line. You can't see it unless you look REALLY close. I could polish it out with a smooth cloth, I think. This really hasn't been hardly used.

I don't think anyone would mind since there wasn't an October thread![wink]

Ok, I feel I can post pics of 2 of the rifles since 1 is now clean and almost whole. The third rifle I got was the VZ24 Mauser w/tiger striped stock that was for sale in the classifieds here a few weeks ago. It still needs a cleaning so I'll get to that one another time.

Top is a $70 U Fix Em/Gunsmith special (call it whatever you want) Yugoslavian M59 SKS. All that was missing was the bayonet, cleaning rod, which I still need to get, and the butt plate which I had. The bore is really clean and I feel I lucked out since I heard stories of people getting them at full price of $150+ with lousy bores.

I'm guessing the soldier who carried this rifle marked it with his initials, MM. Finding carvings on Yugo SKS rifles is common.

The wood has seen better days but fits tight and the metal inside and out is nice.

Last but certainly not least on the bottom of the top pic is a Finn capture New England Westinghouse Mosin Nagant. Those of you who know me know I have been wanting one for a long time. Theres something about bringing an old rifle back to its original location after its been all over the world that makes them mean even more to a collector. The stock on this one is dry and will get a traditional rubbing with the 1/3 Finn mix for protectant. Looks like a Finn arsenal replacement because it has remains of an arsenal tag on the front sling swivel.
This one hasn't been cleaned yet but the bore looks good and the bluing is near excelent.

More photos to come ala Gun Porn style of this one in a diferent post when she's all cleaned up and outdoors.[smile]

My new pocket pal

We went to Tite-Group Sporting in Northboro today and hada nice visit with Michael Wheelock. Went up there to buy some ammo for my SKS, he had a really nice deal on it:

Greg made a mistake, however, in not leaving me in the car. Mike slyly brought out a nice little package for me to open, and when I did, it was love at first sight:

(deleted for safety reasons)

This is the gun I've been looking for as a carry gun. Little, light, and .380. He had me slip it in the pocket of my jeans, in my jacket pocket (it's actually lighter than my keys!) A lot of times I don't carry because my other guns are big and bulky, this fits the bill perfectly!
[party]

Greg is so happy I'll be packing now [kiss]

Unfortunately the Mauser Broomhandle "Red 9" i was after on Friday didn't
fit into my budget.
But this baby did: Smith&Wesson 2nd Model Hand Ejector, .455 Webley Mk. II,
born in Massachusetts around 1915/16.
I hope, the seller will find the original wood grips, for me to complete this beauty.
The holster was a seperate auction by same seller.
She should arrive towards the end of the week.

What?
No .223 for Greg?
Not to worry, Cledus, we're ready for Armageddon now! [wink] His .223 should be here this week, as he said.

I forgot to mention, Mike threw in some nice Speer gold dots to carry and some American Eagle for getting used to the gun. Next SAS meeting I'll be getting to know my leetle friend [banana]
