Pulled the trigger on a Nighthawk as well as scratched an itch for a Long Slide 1911. So found the handgun and jumped on it. It a Nighthawk Chairman Long Slide in God’s caliber.

As my December acquisition of a 1914 Erfurt Artillery Luger fell through I had to do something meaningful with the refunded money.
On Saturday I have picked up two Mauser Lugers of year/maker combo I didn't have yet.
Here are a few pics of the first one, a 42 (Mauser) code of late 1939, q-block. Earlier 1939 production carried the S/42 code.
This pistol is matching except the takedown lever and mag and carries a West German re-proof on the underside of the barrel.
The 2nd one is a matching S/42 of late 1937 (y-block). The early 1937 production still had the trigger and safety lever strawed, whereas the later ones were blued.
@Len-2A Training This is a younger sister of your Luger. Remember me saying "don't like the strawing on a 1937" back in 2010 when we first met at Mansfield
and pedaling back later? Well, I now need an earlier S/42 1937 like yours to fill the gap as I strive to have at least one of every year and variant of Mauser Lugers
from 1934 through the end of production in 1942. Still need a K-date (1934), S/42 1937 w/ strawed trigger and safety lever and a S/42 1939 to to complete the
family.
I don't have any pics of that one yet, so stay tuned.

Brought this classic Charter Arms Bulldog .44 home from a small Knoxville gun show this morning.

It's been over a month since my last NGD, and GAS was hitting me hard on this, so earlier this week I pulled the trigger on one of these...a Sig P320 Flux Legion. I took it to the range Thursday morning for the first time, and boy is it a lot of fun to shoot! I'm sure many of you will scoff at this, but that's ok; it may very well be my new favorite gun to shoot.
Note, these come with two 30 round mags stock, but since I'm in , my 30 rounders had to be neutered to 10 rounds. I actually have two neutered 21 round mags on order for it, because I think the 30 rounders, especially because I can't use them to their full capacity, are too long to be practical, and 10 round mags are really too short for it.
These would make for an awesome truck gun, backpack gun, or even bedside home defense gun since they're actually pretty compact when folded (and without the 30 round mags).

No pics since it's boring and stock for now, but grabbed a P365 AXG Legion. Fits my small hands better than any gun I've ever felt, and that's cheap guns to $10k custom 1911s. Everything is just in the right spot. Can't wait to shoot it and get a dot.
Winchester 1892 in 44 mag. Been looking for a 44 mag carbine for awhile. I was gonna do another henry but this 1892 followed me home. The fit and finish is spectacular compared to henry.....and im a henry fan. Comparing the henry next to the 1892 was night and day.....the henrys of late I'm not as impressed with like the ones I purchased a few years back. The rear sight on the henry was wobbly.....the stepped elevation adjustment wiggled all over.....the finish on the barrel......wouldn't even call it bleuing......looked like paint brush lines in it and it was more grayish than black.
Its Lighter than henry 44 carbine as well. Made in the miroku factory of course....
Sights are dead on thats a 6 oclock hold at 50 feet standing off hand.
