New Acquisitions - June 2015

I found this at a LGS recently after looking for a K22 for a while. It has some battle scars and some holster wear so I won't be afraid to take it with me in the woods. The bore was bright and clean and it locked up tight. It had later set of grips so I put a set of Herret shooting stars on it. I've put 200 rounds through it without issue and It's very accurate if iI do my part. View attachment 140734View attachment 140735

Nice pre-18. 4" K22's are a lot tougher to find than their 6" cousins.

Not New Hampshire but Sheldon's in Auburn. They had their big tent event this weekend and sold a ton of bikes including mine. That was a stock picture I got offline here is the actual bike I purchased.

It was the owners demo and he put a ton of goodies on it including rider adjustablea air ride suspension, adjustable passenger pegs, LED light trim, saddlebag filler panels, under bag lighting, a custom saddle, Vance and Hines stainless steel exhaust system with high flow air filter and screaming eagle matched race tuner. It is a sweet ride.

SWEET!!!!!

Love the colors, may have to steal that if I repaint mine this winter

It's been a very busy month for me regarding firearms purchases, they have almost always been spur of the moment purchases, and I have yet to regret them.

So this last Sunday I took a spontaneous trip up to a shop just over the border in NH with a buddy looking for some ammo and I ended up leaving with a gun I couldn't do without.

It's a funny thing about milsurp rifles, for me they have almost always been a spontaneous purchase.

Anyways enough B.S, here's your gun porn.

I found this out on the rack in the corner of the shop and just knew I had to have it. These few pictures were captured as soon as I walked into the house with it before I gave it a quick cleaning.

It's a Swiss K31. I'll be posting a full thread on it out in the Milsurp sub-forums as I have some questions about it, I'll be linking a thread to it shortly!

At the West Springfield Gun show on 6/6 I decided to purchase a fun little carbine rifle. I was torn between this rifle and a stainless Rossi M92 in .357 Magnum. I decided to grab this rifle as it's cheaper to shoot, it has that "evil black rifle" factor, plus it'll be a nice plinker everyone in the family will enjoy using.

Many people have a lot of negativity to say about the Hipoint carbines but I've found almost no qualms with it. My Hipoint 995TS carbine has functioned flawlessly with 250 rounds from various manufacturers down the pipe, the stock sights I've found to be very accurate and very adjustable. For a relatively cheap plinker and fun carbine, the trigger is functional, and the 10 round capacity magazines are fun (Mine came with 3 mags). The grip is large and fits my great, the only problem about the gun itself I have found is that the opening for the triggerguard/trigger is small.

At the beginning of June I also purchased a Pietta reproduction of a Colt 1851 Navy blackpowder revolver chambered in .44. Now let me tell you, EVERYBODY should own a blackpowder firearm. They are a complete blast to fire, literally. I was out in Western MA to help a buddy move and realized there was a gun shop down the road from his apartment, so naturally I walked in and browsed around and left with a new gun, I think we all know how that works.
