happy early birthday to myself [smile]

Ok, so it's not firearm related, but I figured this was the right place.

I closed on my first house this morning! Got a smoking deal on a foreclosure that was in pretty good condition. 3 bedrooms, almost a quarter acre and a shed with electricity run out to it.

Congrats that a nice big porch. When you get older it will come in handy to sit there and yell at people to get off your lawn.[wink]

only one of these is mine, the other belongs to a buddy. i let him keep his guns at my house since he still lives in the barracks.

How do you get away with the 16+1 and 13+1 in mass, I thought LE only over 10 rounds if the mags were made after '94??

she's not a MA resident...and last i checked, magazines don't have homing beacons that activate when they cross state lines. the gun's in my safe because we went from Rileys straight back to my place...and she hasnt gone home just yet :)

*cough* Only the gun is in MA, right? Right?

precisely. [laugh]

Just put some new wood on the SP101 .357. I bought a set of used beat up grips and sanded them down, restained them in a red oak, and polyed them. I think they came out nice! Next step is to send the .357 out for bead blasting.

If anyone has an extra set of wood grips like these they don't want, please PM me, I need 1 more set for my other SP101.

Thanks!

Great job on the grips! The SP101 is definitely next on "The Handgun List." [wink]

Awesome work on the grips, I regret trading in my SP101.

The foam arrived for my STSP(Storm Trooper Survival Pack) today.

Not bad for what essentially was a $45 craigslist/foam investment. Sells for $167 from Pelican. The case is a Pelican 1490, designed for a laptop. Fits my AR perfect. Plan is to cut in 2 30 mag slots on the left hand side when I feel like it.

AR to go!
