New Folks Check In and Say Hi #4

Hello friends, I just recently moved to MA from Oregon and was directed to this site to meet people that like to go to the range. If anyone has any interest in trying out a Whitney Wolverine I have an original and an Olympic arms reproduction. Definitely not for sale but always happy to let people try them out!

Welcome
Might want to include an area, MA isn't TX but it isn't small either, and there are some from NH that get to shoot stuff MA says no-way to.

Welcome to NES! New folks should check in here and say HI!

Tell us about yourself...Where you live, your firearms experience, and how you found Northeastshooters! I wanted to join because it's worth supporting & the forums / classified sections are great. My dad got me into shooting a 22 bolt action in like 1st grade in the sand pit that is now the home depo parking lot in plymouth. Hey, could a archery section be added to the classifieds? Shooting arrows is cool too, thanks

Good morning, I recently moved to Norfolk County from Suffolk County. My firearms experience is rather limited, and I prefer shooting longer guns than pistols. How did I find this forum? Well, I was talking to some folks about buying a specific AR15, or having one built. After they were done laughing at me, they told me to ask this forum to see how dumb I was.

2 hours and still no one has stepped up. NES you're slopping.

Hi all, life long MA resident. Just received my ltc and looking at getting into the gun world! It’s been a long time since I’ve used a rifle or shot gun, never a hand gun so I will be heading to the Gun Parlor in Worcester hope sometime soon to look and test some out!
Here for tips, advice, suggestions and any helpful info!

Welcome. We can be a rowdy bunch but you're sure to find some interesting times here.

Welcome.

Hi everyone - born and raised in MA, and LTC holder approaching my first renewal date. Been a lurker for more than a few years now, mostly on threads discussing MA law, and info / reviews on local ranges - finally joined as I’m interested in getting some proficiency with rifles, so I’m now looking for upcoming training classes as well as checking out the classifieds for something to practice with.

Greetings, second post on the site. I'm from Western MA, and a member at the Springfield Sportsman's Club. I'm a recent-ish LTC holder and intend to expand from handguns to rifles eventually and maybe even try skeet/trap since it's offered at my range and looks like a lot of fun. I found NES through a friend who pointed me toward the classifieds.

I'm a lifelong car guy at heart- mainly older european, but I enjoy wrenching on anything. I have so far found lots of similarities between the automotive forum crowd and this one, which is neat.

I also happen to be a MA licensed attorney at a full-service firm in the western part of the state. Trusts and estates are my personal specialty- both on the estate planning side as well as the estate/trust administration side of the practice. Not to shameless plug, but if you're in need of legal services, send me a message. I'd love to help out some members of the NES community If I can!

One question, Ford or Chevy? Chose wisely.

Correct answer: Mopar!

This is a loaded question... But I think I'd take a Camaro over a Mustang, all other things constant. Thanks for the reply 42!
It used to be nothing but Chevy since I built the engine for my 76 Camaro (400SB), but I have to admit, I'm driving a Hemi

Welcome

And remember, everyone on NES has an opinion, and most don't know when to shut up.... and I'm including myself.
