New Folks Check In and Say Hi #4

New member here from southern Connecticut. Been shooting for about 10 years on and off, but am now digging in. Right now I'm moving from a hobby shooter to getting into training and competing. I took a few classes this year so far and am learning that I have quite a bit to learn.

I am happy to connect with other people from the area. I look forward to hanging out.

Welcome home. Tough enough to pick up and move to another state... to move to another country? As I already said... welcome home.

Hey there folks!
New member from Western Mass here! I've only just recently got my LTC for the first time, with a handgun to go along with it. I used to do small game hunting and "turkey shoots" back when I was a kid growing up in the mid west, so while I'm relatively new to owning as an adult, I'm very comfortable around firearms and do have at least a little experience. At first glance NES seems to be relatively toxicity free so I definitely look forward to conversating with some you folks as I try and educate myself about whats new in the firearms hobby since I was a kid and the newest batch of crazy rules in MA.

Its also a trip using actual forums, since it's been many a years since I've posted on any sort of actual forums lol

Welcome aboard Ronnie, and welcome to the hobby that is 100 hobbies! I know what you mean about long range rifle.
When I lived in CA I had access to a 1,000y range and really liked the mental and technical challenges of long range shooting.
You found a great forum. Just put on your thick skin and recognize that even the abrasive guys here are really teddy bears just having friendly fun.
