That's almost fraudulent. Like Amazon with tiny tools that look real in the photos.
30 a round was years ago.

Yes, and that could be stated as having "More money than brains" or being "Poor planners" too.
No matter how one looks at it, it is always smarter to buy when product is plentiful and prices are lower......but some people just never grasp the concept.
How many "ammo panics" have we been through in the past ten or so years? This isn't a new thing.

Me neither. Cheapest defense 5.56 around.Only thing I 'panic' (drunk) bought was IMI 77gr, which I dont regret
How about "NES ammo panic"?False ammo panic? We're in a constant ammo panic ever since covid. We're on the verge of WW3 and/or US civil war. Acquiring ammo is always a smart move.

It wasn’t that long ago that Shooter’s Outpost has cases of 5.56 for $900. I’d like to think we all learned our lesson.Talking with a friend in Central NY yesterday - 556 was ~$1000 per case of 1000 before the new ammo background check law was live. Still $650/case at SO.
Lake City?Talking with a friend in Central NY yesterday - 556 was ~$1000 per case of 1000 before the new ammo background check law was live. Still $650/case at SO.
Federal AmerIcan EagleLake City?
Actually just last month with Winchesters 25% Rebate and free shipping 1K rounds of 5.56 was $279 at SG Ammo.
I told several people to buy at that price.
None of them did.
I thought everyone already had their 4000 rounds… we all agreed to this!!
Not when you are buying at top of the market pricing during a panic.Acquiring ammo is always a smart move.
That’s per rifle, correct?
So what will be the 'new normal'?Prices are dropping slowly…looks like things should stabilize soon. Hopefully by Spring or Summer.
Does inflation apply here? 6000 is the new 4000?I thought everyone already had their 4000 rounds… we all agreed to this!!
Great question. I believe it will be strongly correlated with the result of the election, subsequent actions of groups, etc. Only time will tell.So what will be the 'new normal'?
