Cfer stated that he will talk to TED about it and find out about it.

Until then it seems that many on this board are content to assume it is all true and throw NET under the bus.

Ted threw himself under the bus long ago with his admitted ratting out of online ammo dealers AND BassPro regarding Glocks. It was not hearsay - it was/is fact...If it looks like a duck...or in this case a rat....[thinking]

If you read closely, you will see that I am referring to the 22A issue, and was not addressing ammo sales or the glocks.

I had a great experience. I did connect talking about our socialistic prez etc. They sold me a Smith .38 for my wife and stayed open late on a Sunday to do it. I also paid half price compared to Middleboro and Collectors to purchase powders to reload. They were older guys that I showed respect to them and had no issues. The way I was raised I guess. I knew more than they did but was not compelled to do the I know more than u gun talk as so many packing Pete's feel compelled to do. Humility goes a long way. As for his AG complaints I will confront him next purchase. Has anyone asked yet?

I tried calling more than once...every time I was told he was too busy to talk. Once I even said I was C-pher from Bass Pro...the guy on the other end didn't know who I was... Oh well.

I've stopped trying to call.

I have more information regarding the 22A dibocle...but I'm done talking about it. I now know that it's not hearsay.

Anyway, I'm no longer working at Bass Pro, so I guess it doesn't really matter. After holding a second job for four years....it's time to spend time with my family.

How goes it everyone? I just picked up a Bushmaster A2 shorty today. I bought it brand new and I only had to wait 2 days for it. I just had to put a deposit on it and waited in line. It was a short wait because it was moved along. I purchased this gun at Northeast Trading Company. They were damn helpful and even more friendly. Now I've noticed some criticism of Northeast Trading Company due to issues with their owner. I'm just asking that you go there yourself and if you are a critic of them I just ask that you rethink hammering on them just because of one person. I dealt with Laurie and gang and they were a great crew. I've been agreed with when praising ZHA and I'm sure the most of you will agree here. I'm just asking the critics to quit painting everyone with a thick brush and bashing a whole crew just because of the head of them. Think what country you live in or maybe the company you work for. Would you want to be bashed because your boss is a dick? I think not. I saw quite a few young faces walk in there with their parents to pick up fishing gear with guns all over the walls. The young generation needs to be exposed to shops like these to get rid of the fear and mystique of guns and to ensure the sport's future. Support your local shops and think twice before bashing them. Thanks Northeast Trading Company for making me the proud owner of yet another Right Wing Extremist tool!

Sorry, Ma**h*** but perhaps Ted should have thought of that when he screwed every single gun owner in Massachusetts by ruining their chances of buying out of state ammunition, or Glocks, or the 22A's.

It was his actions that caused others to react. I believe he'll screw MA gun owners again if an opportunity arises.

I'm sorry about his workers, but it is Ted who is hurting them, not anyone else.
 
Ted wasn't there. I didn't deal with him. I just thought it was unfortunate that the crew was being bashed for something they couldn't control. Sounds like greed got the best of someone.

Kinda funny, Ma**h*** and Massbites going toe to toe, says something about the state, as a HOLE that is. You know you can buy out'a state ammo, out'a state that is. Glocks you can get, pre Glock and 22A's if they have the target grips. I prefer the 22S. Problem with teddy is he has penchant to run to the DA whenever Bass pro runs a foul or you can get a better deal on line.
 
No need for popcorn here Big Red[rolleyes].... I was just surprised to hear how NESers were bashing shops. Maybe it was deserved but I was just surprised and wanted to ask some guys to ease off people who had nothing to do with it.

Yes, Taipan. I know I can get Glocks in MA.....if they're 11 freak'n years old! And I do realize that one can purchase the 22A if the grips are the right color!!! Stupid Massachusetts laws.

But thanks to Ted, one cannot order out of state ammo IN state.

How you do'n by the way? Go to the range this weekend? [wave]

Yup, went today to zero in the little upper. Got it down to hitting a traced quarter to the back wall at the old club house, should be able to get it down to a dime at that range. My luck, I didn't read the sched. New members meeting today. Even bigger than the last group. Took the smallest with me. Stayed until a couple of Ma**h***s (Ya, see what I did there) showed up with Black powder 45's, at least they smoked like it. Either that or they watched the episode of Startrek where Kirk made his own gun powder and they followed it to the letter. I mean cripes, crummy old range and ya gotta filler up with smoke? Oh, Glocks suck anyway, get a 1911. Hey, did Dave get the letter?

Sorry, editing to add, just to keep with the thread and not hijack: It's Teds shop, if he turns, his shop also turns. Or, as I think Franklin said, We either all hang together or we all hang.

I don't remember anyone bashing people who work there. Ted runs the place, who do you think benefits more by our business, him or the help? I don't doubt he has good help and they should be rewarded for being good. Unfortunately they are caught in the middle of their bosses BS.
