you all knew that anyway. i'm changing the gun i carry daily for the first time in 12 years. no, not to the newest and greatest, but i want to start carrying a 45 acp. i'm going with my colt combat commander or sig 220. i'm testing the ammo i want to carry now but it's getting expensive. i've been using cheap winchester white box bulk, 230 fmj until recently. just checking function in both guns. i stumbled on a buffalo bore vid on the subject and i'm trying to bring in their +p 255 gr hard cast flat point to try to see if will feed in either of my pistols reliably. i use 8 rd chip mccormick mags (pre wilson combat) in the colt and 8 rd sig mags for the 220 (i believe by mec-gar, branded sig).
as my long dead irish grandma use to say..."jesus, mary and joseph!" those are 40 bucks for a box of 20...+shipping costs, which i gather have haz mat charges as well. i'll need to order direct from buffalo bore, can't find anyone who stocks them, bass pro says they do, but they are always out of stock. i'd need at least 3 to 4 boxes for a rudimentary function test. i'd reload for testing then switch to factory loaded buff bores to carry but can't find a dupe of the bullet i'm wanting. sooo...silver tips anyone? not to the newest and greatest

Newest is not always greatest.

I recently went with a PM9 for CCW. Much better (for me) than the 365 because it is more comfortable to carry. NES was sh*tting themselves telling me about the trigger and how it is old technology or whatever. LOL.

If it works, it works. Doesn't matter if it was designed last month or 30 years ago.

what a load of purest bull.
al those youtubes of paid promoters have nothing to do with reality.
That’s what’s awesome about the US.

You can make your own choices, and live with the aftermath.

Everyone else here can weigh the arguments, and make their own decision.
