I used some JB weld and added a little permatex silicone gasket maker to the front end to get it tight fitting in the gas block. Both should be rated for enough heat.

Blitz, what stock are you going with? I'll bet a magpul UBR would look great/ work great (although, of course, it would have to pinned for MA).

FWIW, I have that same basic stock on my XCR. The top tube is a smaller diameter compared to the ACE stock for an AR15 and that smaller diameter makes it not quite as comfortable. I'd go with the setup JD09 has and I'm considering it for my XCR.
I'm not concerned with comfort.

They will be a little loose...for some reason Sig made the the 556 gas block a little wider where the front part of the hand guard fits. Not a big deal but I like it tight. As I mentioned a little JB Weld and some simple high heat silicone gasketing took care care of that.
