while I am still working (at least 3 more weeks, its a question after that) I dont get home until 4 or 5 so no weekday shooting for me... Shame we cant do night shoots...
I could just close the lens caps but then I wouldn't have any way to aim. Go figure, I was shooting iron sights for months until I put this on and this was my first time out with it this last weekend.
It seems there are a lot of people at the club who own Mosin Nagants, including myself...Do I smell a shoot brewing? imagine, 50 people lined up in a foot of snow, in February, all with Mosin Nagants...it would be EPIC.
Have a fire going where we can roast marshmallows on bayonets and make s'mores?

I'm not sure if I'll be down there this weekend, I should know before end of day though. I was in there last saturday and the new indoor range is coming along real nicely (Not open yet) It was actually as crowded as I've ever seen it. there were about 6 other folks there...lol

I want to thank whoever returned my friend's Ruger magazine. I went to work party Saturday and picked it up.
My friend is just starting out and was just waiting for his okay back from the board to join the club and he kept telling me, "it's gone." I told him not to sweat it and sure enough the Pres. says when we walk back in, "looking for your magazine? It's locked in the office."

Whats it take to get a new entry key? Misplaced my range bag and unfortunately the key was in there. I've emailed and no response. Do I need to go to the indoor range to request one? Thinking about just requesting one again when I send my renewal fee in.

anyone shooting friday morning? thinking of heading down there to shoot my AR and Mosin a bit...
I was there this past sunday for an hour or 2 with the wife, HUGE gun safety class going on and the parking lot was packed. only 1 person besides us actually in the range though...
The stupid cold doesn't coincide with when I want to shoot heavy weapons. sigh.
I was there sunday as well, ****ing packed. don't mind sharing a lane with one or two people, but it gets annoying when theres 5 people shooting on one lane. I gave up, shot some pistols indoors, went back to the range, and it was still packed...gotta get there earlier, or just go later in the day.
When I go to the outdoor range I typically try and get there around 9:30-9:40 so I can get everything set up before shooting at 10. It usually isn't packed at that point and you can pick what range/lane you want to be in pretty much. Couple weeks ago and they had the military shoot it was busier than usual. I try and get a seat on the far right so I don't bother people raining 5.56 brass on them from my AR ![[laugh]](/xen/styles/default/xenforo/smilies.vb/012.gif "Laugh [laugh]")

Just a quick reminder - anyone on the outdoor range must stop shooting at sundown. That means 4:20 or so these days
Yup. Sucks it gets dark so early now! Thinking about heading to the outdoor range tomorrow some time. Left my job early this AM and start my new job next week so I have some down time and what better to do than go shooting.
Tell me about it. I went from being able to leave work and "possibly" go out and now there is no chance with sundown being like 1 p.m. lol
no kidding, I havnt been getting home until after 5 for the past few weeks, so no outdoor for me until god knows when
Please, please, please walk up the line and make sure EVERYONE knows you want to go down range BEFORE you turn on the range light and walk down. And, if you were one of the people giggling that someone fired while someone else was down range INSTEAD of calling a cease fire...SMARTEN UP! Fortunately, no one was hurt. I know I'm preaching to the choir here but, I saw a similar incident over the summer outside where someone just went down range while others were reloading minus the gun shot and seeing it again today really frosted me. The club is gaining more and more members and the lanes are getting more and more crowded and no one wants to see anyone get hurt.
