The Conference Committee has sent official language out - h.4885

My father was looking at a couple local gun stores for a specific rifle. He came up empty. He popped into bass pro and they had it coming in on a delivery. He asked if it would be there before August 1. The guy he was talking to said why does that matter? He said because of the bill that passed. The guy claimed to be a compliance officer for bass pro and said that it doesn’t matter as long as you’re over the age of 21. I told him that that sounds like a crock of shit and the guy probably doesn’t know what he’s talking about. He said the guy claimed if you look through the bill it’s all in there. You just have to look for it. He claims my father would have no issue picking up the rifle, even if it was after August 1.

Maybe he is one of those based types that does not recognize illegal, unconstitutional scribbles made by politicians in the capitol building.

Was this guy on commission? [laugh]

AR or “regular” rifle? Details matter.

Another article that only talks ghost guns and ERPO.

NRA's threat to sue is a "real badge of honor", House Speaker Ron Mariano.

"Bring it on," Rep. Michael Day.

Would "withstand any challenge that comes its way", Maurdeeb Healey.
They are right. We only have activist judges here, so these cases won't go anywhere for years.

Depends on the rifle he was looking for.

This is not true. Male 15-25 year olds are the most based in the country. They listen to Jordan Peterson and Joe Rogan, spend time on Elon Musk’s X (Twitter).

It makes sense, masculinity is being vilified. They don’t have a sense of belonging in today’s mainstream narrative and politics.

The young females who idolize their Karen aunts are realizing they can’t get a date, and are coming around too. The woke and anti-gun movement is squarely females late 20s and older (along with their beta male husbands in captive sexless marriages).

Agreed! My son’s cohort (16-18 y.o men) is all straight-edge, gym-rat, conservative, hunting, fishing, scouting, military service, self-reliant types. The tide is turning . . .

Not your dad's problem as long as it's not an ASW.

Same around here. They are fully based as are their friends, as surveys are showing. The most conservative demo ever. They know who Fu€Ked them over during the vid nonsense and the rainbow bullshit is having the exact opposite effect the left thinks it is having. Unfortunately the same surveys also show their female counterparts are the most libtarded of all time.

Imagine if you asked your town building inspector what a law specifying a certain kind of insulation meant.

And he told you to hire an attorney and parse it out. And that he wouldn't tell you if you were in compliance or violation until your final inspection.
They already do, the Statist building inspectors will tell you to hire an engineer if you ask if you can do the simplist framing changes.

I agree that her position/opinion is retarded but where the hell do you get anti-white from? I swear some of you guys play victim better than the dems. WE as gun owners are being targeted, it has nothing to do with race/gender or whatever tf else. And until some of yall get a grip and realise that we’ll never be able to unify under a common cause.
Have you ever heard her speak at a microphone ?

Tweet is not much to read. He calls out colt specifically will that apply to the ones that aren’t.
Colt owns the AR design - it's out of patent protection but they still own it
There is a reason a lot of people refer to them as AR platform rifles.

FWIW Cabela’s told me the same basically verbatim for an M1A that I ordered. They allegedly got direction from corporate that they can still sell (for now). Guess we will see, hoping it comes in sooner rather than later.

I am becoming a beleaver with all the news reports about this new Massachusetts gun law, and when you do an internet search it is only about how great this law is, and how it will keep us all safer, and that it is only about getting scary ghost guns off the street , what ever that means and increased red flag laws so someone can't hert themselfs. It seems pretty good.

It's an indicator of where we're all headed.

I hope so but I would caution that other states have appealed decisions like this and won. I’m no legal expert but I remember recent challenges to CA bans succeeding but then being appealed in some way by the state, and the courts eventually sided with the state and the bans remained. Again, on a scale of 1-10 my legal knowledge is about a 0.5. So I just want to be very cautiously hopeful here.

This is a federal court using SCOTUS' latest interpretations to properly rule on a case.

This is what they'll all be doing, eventually. Short-term stays and other delays happen sometimes, but ultimately a higher court finds the case in its lap and needs a standard to use when deciding the outcome. SCOTUS has given them that standard, and this news today means courts are using it increasingly.
