I’ve been shooting my 590a1 quite a bit and started pining for a semi, the 1301 Mod2 tactical in particular.

Everywhere local was $1799

Botach currently has these in sale for $1445 + $50 shipping, and I was about to pull the trigger.

Wandered into a local FFL to check their transfer cost and saw this on the rack. Asked the price and was told “$1500…..but that’s negotiable”. After a quick look over I asked their make it go away price…..$1350. SOLD.

*optic/mount are mine, not sure if I’ll run irons or an optic of some sort.

Great pickup @ a great price. I love my A300 Ultima - couldn't get my hands on a 1301 at the time.

It all comes down to how well you know said owner of gun shop or the practices of the gun shop itself. It's one of the reasons I'm not a huge fan of consignment sales. The gun owner can easily just tell you what the lowest prices you'll go to try and get a fast sale. Negates the original price you wanted pretty quick.

Good to know about vortex optic, I’ll check it out when wallet cools off. The MRO was poached temporarily off another gun to see if an optic makes sense.
