Trail camera thread. Post ur trail camera photos.

What's the deal with the one from "4 DEC" with the bare patches? Scars?

I am not an expert. If you look closely at the patches there are some white spots. I think this deer is shedding it's winter coat. The patches are it's summer coat? Pic is really from late April early May.

I think you're right about the fawn coat. I zoomed in and there are definite white spots. Maybe it's coming in patchy due to some environmental cause? I assumed it all came in together, but maybe not.

Last pull for me until mid-September. Getting some good action:

Was happy to see some twins on this property. Didn't think the herd was healthy enough, but I was wrong.

On that last one, I'm trying to decide if it's a 'Yote or a Fox. Any guesses? If it's a 'Yote, I'm gunning for it this season.

So, here's a stupid question. I've got 3/4 of a deer on my trail camera - Shoulders to rump. Is there a physiological difference between that part of a buck and a doe? That is to say, can you tell the difference between the two by looking at the body?

Absolutely!

If you look between the rear legs of a buck there will be a penis and testicles. Does have a vagina.

I got two words for you, buddy, and they ain't "Let's dance!" ROFL.

In all seriousness though, the shot from the cam doesn't give a look at the wedding tackle. I can post it when I get back to the office.

Here it is:

Thoughts?

Got this one at cam site #2, looks to be a doe with no skipper. I think I need to check the batteries on both cameras I haven't been getting any night pictures, not sure if it's because nothing happened at night or because my batteries are low.
