It might? But I think they are designed, NOT to trip for small things like mice. I think they use thermal sensors for camera activation and a mouse may be too small. I have had pheasants set mine off before, but it ignores all of the small birds that zing by.I am trying to find out where a mouse is getting into my house, will a cam like this be able to catch them if I have it setup around the house at certain areas?
Set it up at about belly height and you should be ok.used mine last night i think i had it set to high it's a truth cam 35. I had it set to Normal sensitivity and it only took 3 videos all way to dark
