Fox & coyote are very sensitive to some commonly deployed IR radiation wavelengths. One method to avoid spooking them is to slowly pan the spread of the IR into their field of vision, vs. just switching it on. Raccoon don't seem to give AF. I'll have to move this camera back or disable the flash.
That's a cage trap. I'm going to relocate the camera in an attempt to avoid having the IR spooking the canids.Hard to tell but do you have the cam pointed right at the den entrance?
