How ya liking the Spartan?
I’ve had it in the field for almost a year now. Reception is awful and I can’t get a good south facing placement for the solar panel.

That said, I’ve never changed the batteries, and never unable to connect to it real time. The plans are a bit pricey and the unit itself was around $400+, but I see they are less expensive now.

I’d buy again simply for the fact I don’t have the luxury of being 20 minutes down the road from where it’s set up to troubleshoot it when it goes down

Thanks for the info!

I swear no 2 Spypoints are alike, having issues as well, and came on here to see what everyone is running. I've been having similar issues with my Tacticams as well
I'll be checking that camera later this week. Of the five Micro-LTE cameras I have, one has experienced water intrusion. It seems like the door wasn't tightly closed, more than a component failure. The latest firmware has cut back on the false triggers without reducing the sensitivity to small critters. I'm using them for monitoring activity rather than identifying particular targets. And batteries have been good for at least 6 months, with some lasting nearly a year out there. For the price, I'm happy with them. And getting the 100 thumbnails per month at no cost, is bonus.

How do you like the Muddy?

I have four of them. All work fine.
I have a couple of the cheaper Manifest models that I keep out on public land. They take fine pictures and seem to last long time on one set of batteries. I thnk they end up being under $50 each so I'm worried about them walking off. They only do pictures, no video or sound.
Also have a coupe of the Morph models on the land behind my house which also work fine. They take better pictures and also do video.

Each camera is only $5/Month and it's good for 600 pics/month. I've never gone over, not sure happens if I do.
The phone app is easy to use.
I'll buy more of the Muddy brand before anything else.

I have a decent 8pt and about the same size 9 I get regularly. Not big but OK. I have an old big forky with eye guards which I hope to hang 1 tag on. Amazing spread for a forky.

I have a Tacticam and it has been nothing but trouble even with a 100% Verizon cel signal.

After a bunch of time on the phone with them it still only takes pictures sporadically, never sends them, and eats batteries. Yesterday afternoon it had 70% battery and this morning I got a low battery text. Junk

Same here, just tossed 1 in the trash, 1 still in use for now.

I am running all spypoints right now. Various models. Some of the older Link Micros stop sending pics ocasionally and need to be reset, which is a pain. My Newer ones, the FlexG36 and the newest FlexM’s are working pretty well for pretty cheap cameras. I run 8 of them and pay for a yearly membership ($99/yr) and get 250 pics a month per camera which generally covers me. Overall they are decent. Not great pic quality but I am mainly just trying to see whats around. The pics above are from a Flex-G36.
