Twitter: Woman Removes full auto M4 from Texas National guard vehicle

How about a bunch of other choices, like, gee, I don’t know, call the cops so they can come secure the rifle and simultaneously arrange to have the vehicle be towed off her property?
Splurge:
Call the Texas Rangers to have it towed,
and if the tow truck arrives
before the troops return to the vehicle
(they may have been grabassing in the scrub very close by),
let the cops discover the unsecured gun
during "vehicle contents inventory".

Calling the cops was likely to result in an even shittier outcome unless she knew them well.
Not if she keeps her booger hooks outside of the vehicle.

She seems like a real c***.
Read my mind. OMNIPOTENT BUSYBODY
You guys have no clue what it's like to be a landowner
on the southern border. The Guard wouldn't be
swanning about her property unless there's
a steady stream of crimaliens padding through there
like it was the Ho Chih-Freaking-Minh Trail.
Leaving filled diapers, empty water bottles everywhere.
The Guard may only be leaving water bottles.

Taking the obligatory peek through the windows of her house
at all hours just in case there's something to steal or rape inside.

I'd like to see how you cope with that,
knowing that if you dime them out, they're punished
with EBT cards, Obamaphones, and voter registration forms.

That might work.

You don't want to bet on unmarked graves, out in the desert past Terlingua.
They probably spend more energy scanning thermal photos
for field-expedient graves than they do protecting the border.
Priorities, amirite?

I have no idea why anyone here is questioning this woman's actions, since she lives on the border and the Guard is there because her land is being used as a illegal crossing point by illegal aliens. So she should have left it there in plain sight so some coyote or drug smuggler could grab it and ambush the good guys? Hopefully someone provides us with an update on the situation.

It’s because everything is political and it’s evidently impossible for many to see past that. She’s a butterfly loving liberal therefore she’s wrong because she’s a liberal.

If it had been a Jesus loving ex-Marine, they’d all be offering to buy him a beer and duck his sick.

My overall assessment of her is based on what she advocates for and what is posted on her social media. Her post about finding the rifle was pure virtue signaling. She sucks.

You got me on the border point however

Fair enuf; between the two of us, you did more reading.

(Backstory:
I've corresponded with someone who knows a rancher
whose spread is near the border, and life is hell.
Crimaliens constantly skulking around the property
They can't leave the house without packing heat).

So now that you've announced that you have zero clue who the Texas Rangers are and what they do...

Since she doesn't object to this trespass you speculate about, and she IS the landowner, who are you to demand the government protect her land against her wishes?

State police.
Like MSP, with bigger hats.

Maybe she'll think better of that after the home invasion.

My only prob is her social media gotcha histrionics.

And that is her risk to choose, not yours.

I love all the hardcore border enforcers who insist they're protecting private property, while telling the rest of America who they can or can't allow on their own private property.
