Update: New promoter steps in! Gun shows in MA are Back on!

I attended a large gun show in Georgia just over the FL border and it was awesome. There were guns a far as the eye could see. Big vendors to mom and pop stores as well as individuals selling their own collection. While I know a MA gun show will never be like that I wouldn't mind seeing it head in that direction.
Yeah per my math 90% bigger 😝
I remember going to a huge sportsman show somewhere in mass with my dad when I was a little guy. Fishing tanks, guns bows trucks. It may be been the big E? Dunno it was well over 35 years ago

I attended the oaks PA show put on by eagle last year and it was seriously awesome. Listed at 1500 tables and I'd say it got pretty close to that with a lot of variety between vendors. Now of course this is MA and not PA but I'm at least optimistic about the promoter

Growing up and camping in Weston, Massachusetts and throughout New Hampshire Vermont late 70s through the early 90s. My dad would always drag us to gun shows. In New Hampshire a lot of them were in the closed schools and you were just walking into each classroom and they’d be a vendor there was two gun shows. We went to quite often and they were up by White River Junction and there was a guy there always selling bulk ammo mostly Russian import ammo my dad would buy a couple of cases of Junior 22 long rifle. I want to say it was either 50 or 70,000 rounds to the wooden box. From about 1980 to 1988 it wasn’t unusual for me and my brother to piss through 30 to 50,000 rounds every summer. I have one 500 round brick left in those days.

I remember going to Sportsman's Shows in Boston every year with my uncle back in the 60s. They were someplace in Boston proper. Tons of fun as a kid.

My last trip there was in Sept. 2023. Even as we were packing up to leave, I couldn't resist a bargain on a 3953TSW. No line at all. Even with filling out the 4473 on line, it took almost 45 minutes for them to complete the paperwork thanks to the Biden ATF. Not their fault at all.

I have been lucky , 4S has never been so busy when I have gone to really need the deli tab….last up was just before covid lock down

Glad the gun show is back I was going to spend that time at a homeless shelter but the people there smell better and are more polite
