Generally speaking, I think most people don't get into reloading to necessarily save money over factory ammo, especially just for plinking, but more so that they can tailor ammo to their needs or particular firearm.
With that being said, I started acquiring my reloading components around 2019, just prior to the insanity. Good thing I did, as when people couldn't get ammo to hit the range, I had pretty much an unlimited supply for the near future as well as the components to make more for even further out.
I stocked up and stacked whatever I could get my hands on prior to rape prices on primers, powders and other components. If prices on factory ammo are that low now, you should probably stock up while you can, but I would be stocking up more on components so you have them. If ammo prices go sideways again, so too will the price of components, if you can even get them.
Take advantage now while most likely the majority of people who overpaid or went without get comfortable with what little they have again.
