What did you do in the reloading room recently?

They said when it comes back, it'll be better than a new one.

I can confirm. I've done this a few times now and my first thought when I open the box is "did they just send me a new press ?" They didn't...it's the press I shipped them but it's hard to tell the difference.

Worth the money.

Have just started to setup my new Dillon 750. Waited to buy till had 5% off at Double Alpha. Switching away from Hornady Lock N' Load. The only thing will miss from the Hornady is being able to take out a station by a quick quarter turn of the die bushing. Will have to buy more Dillon tool heads to separate the operations that could be done by just removing/leaving off the dies from the Hornady.

Since was already in for the $$ with the Dillon, decided to add InLine Fabrication quick change mount to the bench and presses. Love it. Was surprised how much better it stabilized the presses. (Bench has 1" plywood top and two 2X6 on front edge- Hornady press used 5"X1/2" lags to attach LNL. Still flexed some when sizing .223/5.56 cases - not now.) Also bought InLine's wall rail system to move stuff up off of bench. Am able to store single stage press, powder measures and caliber changes out of the way, but still in sight.

Loaded a few 44 magnum with 240 and 300 grain coated bullets. Both with Titegroup. Hopefully the new grip will keep the Superblackhawk from smashing the shit out of my knuckle. I also loaded what's supposed to be Bob Munden's 45 Colt load. A 250 grain Laser Cast and 5.3 grains of Titegroup. I'll try them all tomorrow.

A mixed batch of .223, 6.5C, and 7.7 Arisaka straight from wet tumble. I always find it satisfying to see that bright and shiny brass after cleaning. This time it was even more satisfying knowing I can reload these and have ammo without having to jump through whatever hoops are currently being implemented here in MA!

Back to loading .223/5.56 with 62gr M855 FMJ, Wolf primers and my last pound of Varget powder. (Thank God!!!)

Have 8lbs of H335 coming in a few days to finish up the rest of my clean .223 brass.

Then, going to start on 6k of clean once fired .45acp brass with 230 FMJ.

Winter project will be reloading all of my Berdan primed 7.62x51 brass. Going to hydraulically deprime them and have 10,000 Berdan primers to reprime.

When I was at the range on Thursday there was a kid blasting through PPU 30-06 in his Garand. Looking at the big pile of brass I asked him if he was keeping his brass. He’s like no I toss it in the brass bucket. Needless to say I grabbed the brass but left before he was done shooting. I think he was probably going to burn 200+ rounds.

Warms my heart that the Garand was getting work
