AR15_fanatic - "I think the Steyr AUG is ugly."

Dude are you crazy? The AUG is dead sexy!
I have loved that gun since about the age of 10.
It's the reason I had to get a copy of one.

With a 16 inch barrel it is as short as an SBR.
As short as a 10 1/2 inch AR with the stock all the way in.

smitty

I think the Steyr AUG, Walther G22, and Beretta CX-4 are very ugly.

The Liberator pistol was the stamped 45 pistol that we dropped into occupied European countries during WW2. I think it passes as both the ugliest looking yet it earns the top of the list for the best descriptive name and the best use of a cheap pistol to symbolize the reason all people deserve the right to have a firearm to defend their freedom.

I want to add that nothing made from metal and wood gets a chubby growing better than a Tommygun with a big drum mag on it.

If you were unarmed and behind the lines in Vichy France that was the most beautiful thing you could imagine.

I know, it's built for function, and it performs very well... but it is UGLY!

... and I'd love to own one!

Oh - I forgot about the Nambu 94...

Not only was it ugly, but it had an exposed sear on the side that, if you were to bump the gun against something, or touch it in just the right way, would shoot without pulling the trigger.

Not a good example of superior firearms design. Put it under the "ugly and doesn't work" category.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Example:
